Wait Thaumas Kecks beat Athos's Tights inside abyssea?
well athos give dex,which is pretty useless in abyssea,only give 4% crit dmg,byakko good augmented would bet that out,but since i dont have it good augmente,prolly thaumas keck beat out

Although I guess it could depend on which atma you are using as well how many pieces of thaumas you wear in your set. still no one throwed out the latest optimal set in and out for HI? ><
I recently got 5/5 Thaumas and was wondering which pieces are used in the optimal Hi set. I use the head and feet atm, but was wondering how the kecks would be because my Byakkos only have stp+4 and crit+3 and have given up on throwing Gil at them. Also how would the hands compare against Seiryu's with 2% crit rate on them, considering either the +5 bonus with Byakkos or +10 with Thaumas?
Any suggestions would be great^^ Regurgitating stats from Mote's sheets, DC Dyna mobs but Abyssea settings, 4/5 Thaumas and Athos's Body is 5013 average, highest I could find. Outside, same set(STR katana, though) puts you at 1906 average, which is also the highest I could find. Please, correct whatever needs to be corrected (VWNMs?).

That's awesome if that's the case. Still lacking tights and I have thaumas, but I assumed 4% dmg and 3% rate was better.
9 Agi(not including set bonus), 14 acc and 14 attack is a lot. Especially in Aby where Crit Rate is so high.
I could be 100% talking out my *** though. I've almost ruled out abyssea completely so that might have something to do with it.

Outside, Inside I use Thaumas legs/Loki's/Agi ring. Looking to pick up the crit rate collar for outside side. edit: 3Crit rate on Kotes. 3%crit dmg on legs. Also wondering how this looks for Mijin?
I just got my Kannagi, after reading few pages, got an idea on my gear, and made some testing inside aby.
 First on the Manticores, then tried and solo'd the NM, had to use temps coz Stonega IV and Stoneja. As Atmas uses Apoc, GH, RR, no food. This is my set, that will try to improve eventually. Seiryu's Kote Crit Hit +3, STP+4 Byakko's Aug, Agi+3 Stp+4 Crit Damage +4 Any suggestion will be appreciated. (Still dont have any Neo Nyzul Gear... ) Seiryu's Kote: Store TP +3 Crit Hit Rate +2 Byakko's Haidate: Store TP +5 Crit Hit Damage +4% Moonshade Earring: Attack +4 TP Bonus +25 Atmas in most cases are RR/GH/SS Question...

funny thing i have noticed with my 90 kannagi if i just use loki and ambusher legs i norm do ok dmg but i tried adding athos boots and oce head b4 and it just killed my dmg ison't that weird? 0.o though i did see a friend test kamone vs agi katana when he got his kannagi a few days back and agi katana did seem better so thinking of trying for that just hoping it don't kill my dmg like atho's boots and oce head did >.>;

may i ask why not agi katana? XD and also austar why str katana just curious?
Because AGI doesn't do anything except add about 5 base damage to your WS. STR adds damage to everything, auto attacks and WS.
