Mantle+Hope+Belt would be better than Atheling+Collar+Belt.

Still not sure what's going on there, because I was never able to reproduce your result. I've always had Hope Torque come out ahead of gorget, in your setup and in many others I've run through the spreadsheet.

why are you not combining iga back and rancorous collar for EVEN MORE crit rate?

Because there are stats besides critrate that also matter. Iga Dochugappa isn't very good for Hi.

Just saw Nefarious Collar. How about combining that + Rancorous Mantle? Would it beat Hope + Rancorous?

I'm curious how Thaumas feet would hold up against Athos's, I recently started doing Nyzul and have hit 100 only twice and the first set I plan to get is Phyorces's.

I think athos is good if you have 3~peices

I'm unclear as to why exactly rancor collar or mantle are used for Hi inside abyssea? 50% crit rate from atma (assuming gh over ss) + 25% from capped dDex + 5% from merits + ~6% from gear(athos body/feet and 3% augmented kote) +15% blade: hi crit rate @100 tp (or does it not work this way?) puts u at cap, no?

You counted dDEX way too high.

Would be 15 dDEX, 5 base, 5 crit, 6 gear, 50 atma, 15 WS = 96% crit.

I had read somewhere that it was 25 but I think they were including merit crit rate. Oh so its 20 for base +dDex. My mistake. Still confused though. Add tp bonus moonshade's +crit rate (isnt 25 tp about 2.5% crit? Seeing as 100 tp is 15% and 200 is 25%) and you're at 98.5% crit when using ws @ exactly 100 tp. Doesnt seem like rancor collar or mantle is adding all that much compared to Hope torque or even Iga Neck.

dDEX itself caps at 15%, but they probably included the 5% base crit rate.

What event are you planning to adjust your set for? Abyssea, Voidwatch/outside build?

Immediate upgrades would be brutal/cent earring, Hope Torque, Rancor Mantle. (Rancor collar+Atheling is fine if you want cost-effective solutions).

Depending on where you plan on using nin the majority of the time, the Hi set can be altered further.

What's currently the best inside/outside/VW(I know this is going to fluctuate depending on tier) set for Hi, without the new salvage gear since it's currently unattainable for me.

Looked back a few pages and couldn't really see a definite answer.
Have rancor neck and atheling back, I do have hope torque if switching to the rancor back is worth the price tag.

I think my Seiryu's Kote are augmented with Crit Rate +3, and my Byakko's are with a small amount of agi and +4 Crit Damage

Cause I got a Hope Torque and a Rancor Collar, but I would like to see the the best Combination you can get on Neck/Back Slot, before I bother buying a Rancor Mantle.

Is Hope Torque/Rancor Mantle better than Rancor Collar and Atheling Mantle?

Hey guys, I finally got my Kannagi and I'm looking to polish my Blade: Ohai build. Here's what I was thinking for an outside build:

Any general suggestions? I also got a couple of questions:

1. Does Toci's have a place in this?

2. Would a Seiryu's Kote be worth using without augments? I kinda loath synergy so I've been avoiding augments but maybe I should get over that.

3. Any suggestions for legs or belt?

4. Does an AGI rings really pull ahead of Rajas?

5. Replace Kamome with a STR Katana?

6. Where does the TP Bonus Katana place in ranks of katanas to use with Hi?

1. No emp body is better outside.

2. It depends if you're capping out Ddex on what you're fighting. At best emp hands will give you +10% crit rate. Get the auged hands eventually though they're awesome.

3. Kitty pants with crit damage aug. As far as belt it depends if you need dex or not Cuchalain belt for dex or Anguinus belt if not.

4. Depends again if how your Ddex is I would say stay with Rajas though

5. Yes Str offhand >all

6. Not sure I wouldn't use it though.

So for outise Hope + rancorous Mantle is better then Rancor collar and Atheling?

Outside set:
Kannagi/Kamome/Qirmiz

Atheling/Cuchulain's/Byakko's/Koga+2

1. What is the best belt for inside and outside? I've heard Anguinus inside and Cuchulain's outside but I also have a soil belt and I'm not sure how it compares.

2.What is the best Neck/Back combo for inside and out. I've heard a lot of people say Hope Torque and Rancorous Mantle. I'm working on getting Hope atm but idk if it's better than my current set up of Atheling/Rancor Collar.

3. Is Stormsoul ring better than Rajas for either inside or outside?

4.Is Centauras earring the best or is there something better?

5. I'm currently working on Thaumas/Athos gear/Ocelomeh+1/STR Katana/Rancorous Mantle and Hope Torque, but any other suggestions would be appreciated!^^
