Women's Literature class. Ugh. ._.

For one, it's boring as all get-out. I literally can't focus on a single thing the teacher says because he's so repetitive and monotonous.

For two, I'm not huge on feminism. It was great back when us ladies wanted to vote, but it's simply annoying now. For instance, last semester there was a big upset on campus because a female faculty member (NOTE-- faculty member! Adult! At her job! Supposed to be professional, maybe?) was wearing a skirt so tiny that it could have passed as a belt with no problems whatsoever, and a male faculty told her, "Nice legs." She freaked out and called the cops and cried sexual harassment and so on and so forth. Ok, but it's her own fault. If she didn't want him to look, she wouldn't have worn something that was blatantly inappropriate for work. For two, he didn't reach up her skirt and grab her, he didn't say anything rude. He complimented her because apparently she looked nice. And all the feminists and the Women's Center on campus threw this huge hissy fit. Um, if we want men and women to be equal, then shouldn't they have to act equal? So if a woman wants to be treated with respect in the workplace, then maybe she should act and dress like she deserves respect? What feminists today want is to be able to act and dress however they please and not get repercussions from it. That's not equal treatment for women, that's special treatment for women and it's bs. Women want to be equal to men, then they earn that right by acting equal to men. Seriously.

Er, anyways, that was a huge wall-o-text, do just ignore it if you are rushed. My point is, Women's Lit. class and celebrating the fact that girls have bewbs or whatever is just not going to tickle my fancy. Female scholars don't need any special attention just for being female, and if they really wanted to be treated equally, then they wouldn't demand special attention for doing the same things that boys do. ><

Fixed! I'm dropping the Women's Lit class as soon as I get accepted into Plant Science instead. Wish me luck! Because you know, women are just sorta normal every day things and kinda boring, but plants are the coolest things in the world. There is nothing else in this world that can take some dirt, sunshine, and water, and make a blossom or a leaf or an orange or some wheat out of it. Nothing else! Plants rock my socks off. <3

And I won't tattle on you, Vonn ^^ feminists drive me nuts! But you might want to hide in your basement just in case, they are so touchy about it all. xD
