What Grinds Your Gears?

staring out the window at a shitty day grinds my goat.

Texting and people who constantly do that while they with friends instead of idk talking with the friends there grinds my gears

I do this too often. Text conversations are generally more entertaining than actually talking.

Seconded, paying the $5 bucks a month for unlimited was so much better then the $20 for the 200 extra texts on every bill LOL



Oh...yeah, I send a lot of texts that end up being 2 or 3 messages, but the best part is, they don't necessarily get there in the right order, so my friends get to try and figure it out. It's like a game! Yay!!

Idk I like texting. I hate it when people call me while I'm playing. With that said, I ignore all my calls. lol

Working at work is boring. Browsing the FFXI forums is much more entertaining.

Best part is when they call back 3+ times, because Lord knows there's just NO WAY you could have specifically not answered, oh no, you must have not heard it...

People that blow up my phone over and over piss me the *** off.

People that ring my phone once, then expect me to waste my precious minutes to call them back... oh yeah, phone plans, YOU SUCK!

True its also generally a good way to idk keep your job and/or get better one. I know before I wouldve been crucified for texting while working... assuming I could get reception lol

Meh, I got so much more done then anyone else at my last job I coulda spent half the day sitting there reading and get away with it. I was doing three peoples jobs simultaneously, in LESS time then when they actually had the three people doing it, so they cut me a lot of slack.

It's a shame they went out of business, I miss that place...

Lol but how often does that matter. If boss walks by sees you doing nothing they'll think man this guy is a total slacker even if you've already done 3 days of work while the guy who is still just starting will look like a star at a glance cause hes working... not to mention some jobs are serious about what you do while on the job

Haha, I actually like my job. Wouldn't like to have hers though. I'm just sitting here building images for PCs at the moment. Not like you can do a whole lot while the system is installing software.

Obviously depends on the job, and you can't slack right away, either. I was pretty much known to be the bulldog at my last job because I busted my *** pretty hard. Made a lot of changes in procedure that increased efficiency quite a bit on a lot of fronts, as well as improving accuracy. It was actually to the point that some of the slackers used to tell me to slow the *** down because I was making them look bad.

*** that, when I have a job, I want to get the ***done. I've always hated that "make the work last" ***, people like that make me sick. A lot of times I was sitting there slacking because there was literally nothing else for me to do, and they didn't wanna *** me over for working so fast and hard by sending me home and not getting paid, so they let me chill. Was pretty nice ^^



LOL yeah, same here. I used to read all through early H.S. math classes, my teachers would get pissed off at me, and I'd be like "I already know all this ***. Test me now, I'll ace it." The few times they did at first, I got 100%, so they just let me sit there and read my book all day lol.

Luckily for me, my job now has me running up and down the field screaming at players while trying to maintain the peace, aka, I'm a soccer ref :D
