Yeah...I moreless only use them to get around on PLD. Only use I ever got from them was kiting Kirin, which was the original reason my shell gave them to me. (Aside from me waxing everyone's *** in points). >.> Never tanked end game Wyrms though, so I wouldn't know if the fire resist is useful.

Yeah really it only has +resist and movement speed. Movement speed really only gonna be useful for kiting solo or for pt so... rng pld and rdm maybe cor and blu too. And only jobs I've ever heard of effectively tanking any kind of wyrm that need fire resist that could wear this would be rng pld and rdm lol. Not sure what a drg would do with this other then look cool and to run faster for fun or maybe aggroing something they cant deal with.

W Legs are far more useful to a RDM than any other job; for anything else that isn't a PLD, it's town gear in comparison.

Friends saying that they'll happily help do a Promy when it looks increasingly like it's not gonna happen, then, when we get people and we're actually gonna do it, bitching out at the last minute because they really didn't wanna help in the first place...

Extending that, people that are willing to help with ***ONLY if it benefits them, but expect you to help them regardless if it benefits you or not. I think it's time to put my *** hat on.

Little late but,
One of my most used and valued pieces of gear are my W.Legs. I couldn't do half of anything I've done or messed around with without them.
I've kited jailers, they've saved me from Kirin, I've soloed with them many times, they've helped me outrun links.
A perfect example is Ix'DRK in sea. Pop him, run like a bat out of hell. Eventually, you'll get far enough away from the other two and have just him on you, which you can pull to the zone line. Couldn't do that without W.Legs.
Also couldn't solo/low man Ix'MNK. For RDM and COR soloing, sorry, but they really can make or break the job when it comes to certain NMs.

Id like to add I knew a guy that solo most sky trig Nms on rng... yeah blood cuisse was vital for this. This guy could practically solo anything on rng that he could outrun if there was a kiting area
