This has probably been discussed already but I found it odd, and I don't wanna check through [a somewhat surprising] 97 pages..
Has anyone had a glitch that let's them wear two helmets? I can put on a dragon priest mask (Rahgot in this case) and a Falmer helmet and it allows both but it only shows one.
It's showing only the Falmer helmet right now, and my face/head is completely gone. lol
Oh man, just go with it. Those dragon priest masks have insanse stats.
Has anyone not had their dragon burn up? Just killed the northwind summit dragon but he's just laying there and never burned up/gave me a soul :< reloaded and killed again, still doesn't burn up!
That's happened to me once as well. It wasn't the Northwind Dragon, just some random normal Dragon that showed up while I was hunting children animals..
Not sure what having 100 enchanting has to do with overpowering stats.
With 100 Enchanting you can get the perk that lets you put two enchantments on the same item. With the right enchantments you can practically make yourself invincible.
Honestly, with all the implications of being Dragonborn...isn't this really the way these "epic" games where you are "The" hero supposed to end up?
FFXI has broken us, where no matter what level we are, there's a bunny somewhere that can rape us.
Anyone else have a penchant for using Become Ethereal shout and then jumping off insane distances?
Cuz I sure do~
It's rather fun. Also works in a pinch when a Ancient(I know that's wrong but it's like 1-2 steps above Adept) Conjurer throws a snowball at you larger than you are and you are blinking at 1% health. Pop this shout, get some distance and heal yourself.
Think I'll make a new assassin and boost skills via console. My first one has bloated points spent on other trees which seemed good at the time, but finding worthless now. Edit: Correction. Can remove perks with the console too.. think i'll just straighten mine out then.
Also... 50 hours into the game and I just now learn of the sprint key. weeeeee.
This.
I was about 60 hours in. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU. That 60 hours would have been around 50ish. I don't use fast travel.

If you've visited the same spot and killed a dragon there before and return it has a chance of being the same dragon you killed or a different one. If it has the same name of the one you killed before you basically end up not absorbing the dragon's soul but if it ends up being a different named dragon you can absorb that one.

/raises hand.
Rerolling today... First time through lvl 42, no console use Dark Knightish type (Had to do the great sword thing) character. Going to try a thf/assassin type this go around. ^^
Think im at 50-60 hours, and all Ive done is Whiterun quests, and level my crafting, went out of my way to go the college and markderth place. Not sure how people are doing the whole game in less time. Unless all these roll backs are before completing the game 100%? Just main quest finished with a few others?
Granted I dont use fast travel outside of just buying my supplies for crafting(basically my way of putting my game on pause, level my crafts a bit and resume without the fast travel~......enchant was horrible, that is all.)
Ive been enjoying my sam class a lot, although I have been keen on trying out the magic paths/classes. Mirabelle is owsum at the college on dragons that land there and is probably the reason for that.
someone needs to make a mod that lets u remove enchantments from gear, i really want a different enchantment on my Nightingale Hood :s
*ninja*love that the most downloaded skyrim mod on fileplanet is the nude female one lol
I want the ethereal blue weaps prz. Also, I would have categorized them in corners by type of weapon. Daggers, Bows, Swords, Maces, Axes, BattleAxes, Warhammers, Polearms, Magical Weaps, etc.
Holy sh*t at that image. And I thought I sometimes made a mess dropping the odd basket and shovel here and there...
Just like Hitoseijuro though, I don't know how people finish the game so fast... I strayed from the main quest (only met the Greybeards yesterday) and started doing all of the quests I could find. Level 20 now, my guy is a Nord who is a Spellsword of sorts (Or in my case a Spellaxe lol). I got the Mask of Clavicus Vile, and while its super duper awesome, its rather ugly... can't wait to find Azura's Star if its in the game and the Skeleton key. Useful Daedric Relics are useful!

I'm going to ignore the Skeleton Key this time around. Ruined Oblivion for me. I can pick Master locks with no perks, 20 skill and a few lockpicks. Just takes some patience(and saving right before the attempt and reloading when out of lockpicks).

I have 100+ Lockpicks, and absolutely can't get below 100. The locks are simple if you are easy on the trigger. Lockpicks can be found everywhere. I see no need in the unbreakable lockpick perk.
Looked at the mods, some are pretty cool. I will definitely be picking this up for PC in the future so I can play this away from home (read:inlaws) more easily.
Bethesda Softworks just announced the fifth game in the Elder Scrolls series and the sequel to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will be called Skyrim. And it'll be out next year.
Bethesda's Todd Howard introduced the game with a brief teaser showing a stone dragon and a dramatic narration that sets up the story of the next big role-playing game in the Elder Scrolls series. That teaser also dates Skyrim for November 11, 2011.
I cannot bloody wait. I've always loved the Elder scrolls series since Daggerfall.
