Does anyone else have a problem with the game closing/crashing randomly? I get no error message or anything, the game just quits to desktop randomly every couple hours.
I am running Vista - seems like it might be a steam related issue or something?

I have got to be the worst conjurer ever. Get into the fight with the dragon and the undead with that damn fireball staff. Dispatched the dragon but things are looking bad.
Better summon a flame atronoch for backup! *Double hand summon* as soon as she forms.. she attacks me -.- It's like a 50/50 chance they turn on me XD Doing the mage college line right now. Some of these bossfights are taking 30min.s. I think I may be under leveled for them but I'm beating them. I really only ment to play the mage a little before going back to my assassin.. but man did those 8 hours fly by... Why is it that when I want to find dragons it's impossible, but the second I go to a town for w.e reason they appear to wreck my day. :/
STUPID DOG NPC! following me around and pushed me off a cliff to my death and forgot to save for a while sigh.

thats ok, i picked the wrong option on a quest and then i had to reload a save before i had gotten my alchemy lab, or did my alchemy and smithing skillups

One major problem I'm having with my current char. It's taking FOREVER to skill up my weapons because everything dies too fast ; ;

just finished the imperial legion storyline lol cant say I liked it more than the quests from the other 2 games but slaughtering people was kinda fun, same thing over and over though

I have a sneak of 100 on my assassin. Does the 'make sneak % better' enchants add to that? or is it baseline skill now that it is at 100? Or is there a soft cap to that enchant? I thought Auto-running into a wall near enemies was a cheap way to level sneak...but I just discovered that you can sneak into a wall IN YOUR OWN HOUSE and get skillups from Lydia.

I am almost finished with the Thieves guild quests, you get it towards the end. (edit- at least i think i'm almost done XD)
D: figures criminals get the cool looking armor :/

I can't pick up my Guild Master armor from Tonilia, cause she initiates a convo about how I can turn in my old thieves guild gear for improved gear. I sold all my thieves gear cause it was shite. If you're skilling up a new weapon, shouldn't that mean your skill is very low with that weapon? Your enemies shouldn't die quickly then, regardless of what weapon you're using. For those that really want to be a "Samurai", the Ebony Blade is a 2handed Katana weapon from the Daedra quest in Whiterun, talk to the Innkeeper at the bannered mare until she talks about the Jarl's strange kids.
So, I finally get around to buying the house in Windhelm. I walk in the house, see a chest to my left, and am relieved I can finally drop some of this excess gear I've been carrying forever.
I had previously completed the "Blood on the ice" quest, so I pay the 500 gold and ask the steward to "clean up that bloody mess." Sure, he cleaned it. Took that same chest by the front door that had most of my gear in it, too. It would've been nice if there was some kind of warning, or if it at least dropped the gear contained on the floor instead of deleting it. |
