is it just me or is there a major lack of Kajhiit npc's, only one's i've ever seen are randomly outside Whiterun and one in Dawnstar which i now can't find and ya can't talk to any of them about marriage :s
Sadly you can't marry any Kajhiit (yet) can only get 2 for companions :(
I think Lydia might've got killed =/ and I dunno where.. I noticed she wasn't following me so I waited and waited and she never showed up, then I asked another merc to join me and he didn't say anything about having another follower already.

Check your house.
Found another glitch. A Draugr had hit a tripswitch and killed itself. Then I walked of it, with Light Foot trait, and it goes off on me...
Anyone playing as a Kajhiit? How does their ability to see better at night work? Is it a passive trait or do you have to activate it? What is recast, etc?
Thinking about replaying it as a cat since I dont even use my magic
Also- I dont think Lydia can die unless you kill her yourself. She will kneel when "dead" but will get back up. I took her on a dragon fight and I shot her when she was supposed to die. Immortal NPC's no thx

The Night vision ability is their race power; so 60sec duration can use once a game day. As for NPCs dying, they can. Sometimes monsters leave them alone with the take a knee. But if they get hit again with a hard enough attack, they will die. Or die against a giant...

Actually, in both Morrowind and Oblivion as well as Skyrim, Eye of Night is usable as many times as you want. It's been the exclusive power you can use as often as you want.
Sorry of this has already been said...has anyone run into the "Challenger?" I have run into him in several towns and he can one or two shot me. Its ridiculous and annoying.
Any ideas?
I had one show up after I went back to Whiterun from the mages college. He wanted me to fight him with magic, so I used bound weapons since they're conjuration. He bitched about it, so I summoned an atronach. He bitched about that too.
Which reminded me of countless melee RDM vs other DD threads where the RDMs want a "fair" fight while imposing huge handicaps on the DD, so I just cleaved him in half and called it a day.

Not there :< she's had more than enough time to show back up, I guess she's dead.

Check your own room, sometimes she is up there for whatever reason sitting at your desk. Alternatively if she died you will find out if you get married. When you get married your Housecarl will show up, dead or not. If they *are* dead it will cause a fuss and your wedding will get canceled (and you can never get married if this happens).

I checked the entire house, waited 24 hours, checked again, waited another 24 hours and checked again. I also didn't end up going back to my house for quite a while after I noticed she was missing because I was still running around finishing up quests.
My friend and I are now calling each other "Lydiots".
Anyone know the official rules on respawning items? I own a place now where a Daedra heart is left out and free that isn't stealing. It repawned at least once cuz I picked it up when I first got the room, but since I have left, come back, waited 24 hours rinse repeat and nothing for almost a week.
do any shops sell refined malachite? if so where? or is it that i havent waited long enough since i was able to smith with it for it to be sold?
I'm pretty sure I saw it in uh, god I believe it's whiterun? Too many main cities that start with W, it F's with my head D: It's the blacksmith chick, the warmaiden? I'm pretty certain I saw it, either she sold it or her father/brother/husband/whoever that's inside the shop

The place next to the breezehome does, you can get more from them too if you shop from the wife first, then go in and shop from the husband. They have a pseudo-shared inventory but if you do it that way you get max stock for both of them. That's what I did when crafting my stuff and skilling up
Bethesda Softworks just announced the fifth game in the Elder Scrolls series and the sequel to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will be called Skyrim. And it'll be out next year.
Bethesda's Todd Howard introduced the game with a brief teaser showing a stone dragon and a dramatic narration that sets up the story of the next big role-playing game in the Elder Scrolls series. That teaser also dates Skyrim for November 11, 2011.
I cannot bloody wait. I've always loved the Elder scrolls series since Daggerfall.
