Will I need a Centurion Dynamo Core for anything in the future, or can I go ahead and just sell it?
They can be found all over the Dwemer ruins, so I doubt it will be hard to replace should you ever need it.
That's true, but man those things put up hell of a fight.
As a mage with little to no protection I had to do a lot of hit and run tactics til it finally died.
You can find the cores just sitting about in some places~
Okay so I went exploring and found another dragon shout word: Kyne for Kyne's Peace shout.
Shortly thereafter, a generic dragon showed up, and despite absorbing it's soul, I am still unable to use Kyne's Peace. Does it require more than one soul or does it have to come from a specifically noteworthy dragon?

Forgive me if this is obvious, but did you actually spend the soul on the new shout?

I'm level 34'ish and I've unlocked new shouts and stuff and I've obtained like 10 Dragon Souls so far or something but i never found out how to spend the Souls on Shouts still lol.

I kind of took it for granted that shouts were simply unlocked the moment you absorb another soul as that's what happens when you discover "Force" and kill your first dragon as part of the main story outside of Whiterun.
I'm not sure how I go about "spending" my soul that has been absorbed, but all it says under my new shout word is "Dragon Souls are required to unlock shouts."

You press either R or T on PC IIRC. It should be down there in the options at the bottom of the screen where it says ***like equip or favorite, it'll say "Spend Dragon Soul" or something like that.
Go to the magic menu -> shouts. If you are on PC I think you select the shout and press "R" to spend a soul on it. It should tell you what to press at the bottom of the screen.
Ah I see. I'm on PS3, so it's square that expends your absorbed soul towards a shout. Which is kind of nice because you can horde your souls and spend them on shouts you deem worthy as you find them.
On another side note:
Found a black soul gem. What do?

I found one also, but it was filled with a grand soul. Im guessing its the soul gem higher tier than a grand. Hang on to it. Seem to be rare.
But yeah, a frost dragon attacked me in the middle of nowhere. No warning. Its 11pm at night, i cant see ***, im in the middle of the bush, blah. Annoying, but this is actually an epic fight due to the nature. Ha.
love the weather change shout. shouted it into the air up north to get rid of snow, i stare at sky as it slowly clears up. dragon passes right by and sets me ablaze >.> at least i died while it was nice out
Yeah, it's especially tough as a mage when you invest all your attribute raises into magicka and not bothering with health or stamina.
300 is a reasonable limit for default, but things so much loot, so much gold to be had, and it gets heavy.
Also I notice vendors take forever to replenish their gold supply, I sometimes have to jump between various towns to find one that has enough to buy all my crap.

IIRC I think that black soul gems are from human souls and normal ones are from animals.
I can't believe a single player RPG has taken me away from BF3.. FPS is my favorite type of game, the Battlefield series is one of my all-time favorite series across all genres..
I'm the reverse I haven't played enough Skyrim cause BF3...but I think it's because I'm forcing myself not to spend to much time on Skyrim. It's just like Lost Odyssey is to me. If I sit down and start playing I get lost in it and can play for 10 hours straight without realizing any time passed xD
As far as NPCing stuff there's a place in Solitude called "Bits 'N' Pieces" or something, she buys everything.
Weapons/food/armour/rings/etc.
I think she has 700 gold daily?
And also question, to enchant stuff I need soul gems correct? How does one fill those with souls? I mainly just want to skill up to 100.
There are weapons that can fill a soul gem, but the easiest way is to buy the spell 'Soul Trap'. You cast it on something, then kill it, it fills the gem.
Bethesda Softworks just announced the fifth game in the Elder Scrolls series and the sequel to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will be called Skyrim. And it'll be out next year.
Bethesda's Todd Howard introduced the game with a brief teaser showing a stone dragon and a dramatic narration that sets up the story of the next big role-playing game in the Elder Scrolls series. That teaser also dates Skyrim for November 11, 2011.
I cannot bloody wait. I've always loved the Elder scrolls series since Daggerfall.
