Bartus, that talking dog. He ll *** off once you finish that quest, but im going to keep him around for a long time. He doesnt die and he kind of owns ***. Its just putting up with his barking every 10 seconds when you re in town.
But yeah, found my way to Windhelm last night after one *** wild flower picking journey. No lie. I love the options of those fist fights in town. But yeah, walking back to Whiterun is way too much effort right now for me. ***. Going to wander a bit.
Reminds me of when I was exploring this cave that had an exit to this death pit full of spikes, but even though I barely walked into the spikes it was an instant kill xD
i'd love if u could throw lighter weapons (axe/dagger/sword) at enemies and if u could enable an option to make the random kill animations into a quicktime option similar to the new deus ex, like sneak up behind someone *tap button to assassinate* etc
shoot a mammoth last night, chased me for like 5 mins+ until i crossed a river
Dancing around hills, especially rocky ones you can climb on top of work well for this. Mammoths are great skill up tools for this reason.
At least in this game people won't QQ and call a GM on you for "exploiting terrain".
Also how the hell did you get so much gold in one shot Bart? It took me an hour or two just to get 5000.
Luckily it ushers my enchanting skill ups quite well.

Dark Brotherhood stuff.
;)
Ahhhh that would explain it.
I haven't joined any guilds or organizations yet so I can keep things relatively neutral while I plunder random bandit and critter caves and mines to build a cache of skill and gold.
Also has anyone else noticed a lot of quests making references to music, or is it merely coincidental?
Ex: Laid to Rest, In My Time of Need, A Night (day) To Remember, etc.

it was fun. tried to run away after the fker figured a way to climb the hill I was shooting him from (mind you I was lvl 6) and after a couple of hits from it I was running away. then I look back, and see another mammoth behind it and it's giant. after running away for a while, they still gave chase, looked at map, and was running away from Whiterun rather than going to it so had to U-turn. finally crossed a river and they turned back, apparently they cant cross water :/ (was hoping for guards at whiterun to kill it, and score an easy mammoth trunk for that trader quest)
Thieves Guild is in Riften, once u enter the city go to the market center and find an npc called Brynjolf, if he's not there then he should be at the Inn.
Only thing that makes this game scary at all for me is the lack of directional sound, so i can't tell where any enemies are coming from -_-;
Just found out u can use those strategic maps to add more locations to ur map without having to discover them all, tho u still can't fast-travel to them :s
not scary but pisses me off that I would get hit by something, turn around and see nothing, only to find some stupid wolf on the side or someone shooting arrows from my blind spot. should be marker to atleast point a direction where your getting hurt
If there's anyone looking for gold ingots.. I walked out of Kolseggr Mine with 29 ingots (mostly from mining the ore veins). It's not even a big place, either.

I cheated. I have a transmute spell that changes iron to silver, and silver to gold >.>
Ka-ching!
Will I need a Centurion Dynamo Core for anything in the future, or can I go ahead and just sell it?
They can be found all over the Dwemer ruins, so I doubt it will be hard to replace should you ever need it.
That's true, but man those things put up hell of a fight.
As a mage with little to no protection I had to do a lot of hit and run tactics til it finally died.

Did some dwemer ruins last night and it was badass. Killed all the falmer by luring them back to those spinning-blade floor traps.
Then killed the Centurion by running back and putting a gate between us and arrowing him to death. xD
Bethesda Softworks just announced the fifth game in the Elder Scrolls series and the sequel to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will be called Skyrim. And it'll be out next year.
Bethesda's Todd Howard introduced the game with a brief teaser showing a stone dragon and a dramatic narration that sets up the story of the next big role-playing game in the Elder Scrolls series. That teaser also dates Skyrim for November 11, 2011.
I cannot bloody wait. I've always loved the Elder scrolls series since Daggerfall.
