Where's a good place to sell a ***-ton of potions? Like where is there a person who buys and sells mostly just potions and stuff? Not the general traders, I'm fixing to take all their coin on gems/jewelry and ***like that.
Theres some alchemy/potion/ingredient shops around, theres one in solitude, only one I remember right now.
Speaking of jewelry, is it still useless as hell unless enchanted? I've yet to see any need to wear it.
Can be enchanted (or found) with impressive enchantments. Other than that, it's a great way of making easy coin.
Aye, I just found a necklace with +15% Lockpicking (or however it says it) that I'm using because It's the only thing I've found. Was just curious if there was any benefit to wearing un-enchanted jewelry. Didn't think so, but had to make sure :P
Is there a specific place that sells more conjuration magic? Because everyone i've talked to before only sells Bound sword, Flame Atronach and Familiar/Raise zombie. I'm guessing i have to be a higher level for them to start selling it?
Is there another general shop that I'm missing? I only know the one in Riverwood and Winterhold.
I have a ton of ***to sell <_< I've already worn out the Blacksmith, Alchemy and Drunken Huntsman in Whiterun, the General store in Riverwood and in Winterhold.
EDIT: Found the general store in Whiterun, he's wiped out too. So is the chick in the Blue Palace..

Go to Solitude in the Jarl house is a chick in a mage cloak, she sells a ton of books.
Question for you guys: I've been getting smithing up "organically" (just by crafting new armor and improving it as I get materials and/or find it to sell), and I've noticed that I seem to get the same amount of skill-up crafting very basic stuff (iron daggers) than more advanced stuff. Does that seem broken to you guys? Or is it just my imagination? Do all the other crafting skills work that way too?
skilling up in skyrim goes up linearly instead of exponentially it seems. thats why burning smithing skill up to 100 with just iron daggers works, you get the same amount of skill up for an iron dagger as you would for a daedric shield.
for the other crafts, it seems you get more for disenchanting new effects from items than you do for just enchanting something, i also swear i got a slightly larger boost to alchemy every time i discover a new recipe.
honestly its better this way, some skills in oblivion were just an absolute crapshoot to level up past 75 because of how often you would have to just use that one skill to level it up. *heres lookin at you restoration >->
and psycho, theres a general trader next to the alchemy store in whiterun. i also recommend joinin the thieves guild to get access to fences. they usually have a large amount of gold (plus as an added bonus, they give you a hood with better merchant prices 10%
*** that climb up the mountain. Good god. Use the Clairvoyance spell, be ready for multiple bear/troll attacks a few minutes apart from each other. That was brutal. I tried to raw dog it and not use any spells to find my way, but ***....that was just a waste of a few hours.

The Khajit trader that shows up at night outside of Whiterun in that little camp. He's my main man. He shows up every 2 or 3 game nights.
And this may be a glitch, but if you save your game before you go to trade with a trader, they wont give you ***. They ll give you what they had from 2-4 game days ago, and also have little gil.

Do you not use the quest tracker? :O
That little white arrow? If so, good luck trying to navigate the mountain using that.
I'm basically now having to just wait then go sell and wait again.. I've already sold over 10k worth the ***between all the different venders and I still got more. I've basically been saving up all my ***over the past couple of days (our days, not theirs) worth of play time.
I've also got a huge stash of all my stolen items that I'm waiting to sell. Those I've been saving up since I started playing, and given the fact the first thing I do in a new town is steal everything not nailed down, when I finally can sell stolen ***, That's going to be a fun day..

how do i enter the jail in whiterun w/o commiting a felony ?
Are you referring the "In my time of need" quest with the redguard female fugitive from hammerfalls asking you to kill alik'r and Kematu?
If so you just have to go into the Jail keep and speak with the prisoner Alik'r, you dont actually have to go in the cell. He'll ask you to pay his fee(bail) in exchange for Kematu's location(its 100 gold). You just have to position yourself well enough to talk to him(I know I didnt at first and thought I had to go underground or something.....silly me).
If thats not what you're referring to, then sorry.
I know what you mean. I pretty much wait ever 2 days to sell ***between all the close towns circuit. While i wait, i either level skills, raid ***, or do part of the main stories. All the stuff im going to sell, i just leave in my house in Whiterun.
I've resorted to not looting stuff under 100-150 gold in value. Simply isn't worth trying to find a merchant with enough gold to buy everything otherwise :\.
I dumped all the items I keep on me in my house so I could make room for all the ***I'm going to sell, and what happens? A damned dragon shows up in one of the towns as I exit the store.

I actually leave everything that isn't near weightless (gold/arrows/jewelry/ingredients) or better than what I currently have on the floor. I hope to figure out a way to come back and just raid in the future going on a selling spree.

Bethesda Softworks just announced the fifth game in the Elder Scrolls series and the sequel to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will be called Skyrim. And it'll be out next year.
Bethesda's Todd Howard introduced the game with a brief teaser showing a stone dragon and a dramatic narration that sets up the story of the next big role-playing game in the Elder Scrolls series. That teaser also dates Skyrim for November 11, 2011.
I cannot bloody wait. I've always loved the Elder scrolls series since Daggerfall.
