Dual daedric swords and set of daedric armor (all legendary) + elemental fury = <3 (get smithing to 100 as soon as you can, cheapest way is to make iron daggers)
Elemental Fury?
its a shout that increases the speed of your strikes
Is the NPC companion AI any better than it has been in other Bethesda games? (Fallout, Oblivion, etc?)
In the past I've found their pathfinding to be so terrible as to be immersion-breaking, and in combat they're either laughably weak (Oblivion) or hysterically overpowered (Craig Boone.)
So I haven't done anything with Lydia since sending her to my house to hold down the fort.
They haven't made any great bounds, they're still kinda stupid, but they seem to be a little more intelligent then in Fallout, they aren't ridiculously over powered or ridiculously weak, either. They can die, but not to a single, normal enemy, but it doesn't take a full-fledged 'boss' to kill them, either.
<_< There are enemies that can use the disarm shout and it works on you!
only seems to be used by some boss tier enemies, only encountered this twice.
/walks in the room finds a enemy to kill
/charges at enemy
~you've been disarmed~
! wtf?! "Where's my sword! Gotta find my sword, where'd it go???"
/dies

It caught me really off guard.
Thats how i felt too lol. more concerned with finding my weapon rather then surviving at that point, but if you dual wield it only disarms one , which doesnt leave you completely vulnerable. only thing with dual wield is you cant block, need to rely on your armor for defense. after fight you can reclaim weapon (if you can find)
I was using a one handed sword and soul trap when it happened, up til then, all the enemies had been pretty easy and decided I might as well fill up some of my gems while I was at it.
I don't like mixing Mage with other things, the most I'll do is healing really.
My assassin can 1 hit Giants now, so that's neat.
Whoa :O
I like my mage. I can take down dragons solo, etc, etc... but it just sucks when I run out of MP. MP regen slows down drastically during combat and for some reason I've found magicka pots really hard to come by. I'll have to start making them :/

this is why i favorite EVERYTHING i think i MIGHT use ever. also for consoles, if you hit right on the dpad, it'll auto equip your last weapon set equipped.

weapon actually falls to the floor nearby when it disarms you, so that wouldnt be of help
I just used Whirlwind Sprint near a deer that was by a cliff edge, and it attempted to run away as usual, except it ran off the cliff lol.. Watched as it fell all the way down with a audible groan coming from the bottom. So many random bugs in this game, funny stuff.
As for the mobs that disarm, I just carry a backup weapon of roughly the same type. Then as soon as it happens just equip that straight away, then pick mine back up afterwards.
Does anyone know how to get your fortune told by Olava the feeble?
I did the DB quests and got the bonus, but she just tells me she's not feeling up to it.
2) Enable Skyrim's regular AA to 2x. Next, open up your GPU's driver control panel and edit Skyrim's settings; adjust it so that it enhances or overrides the application's settings, (I don't use ATI, so I don't know if the option to override exists for you, I know it does not for nVidia. If you can override application settings, then you can remove Skyrim's AA2x), and set the AA to whatever you want.
I finally started leveling smithing with daggers, I went from 22 to 35 in like 5 minutes lol, only problem I see is being able to afford mats every time. Which is another question I had.
How do you guys make your gold? I get some here and there from looting bodies and reselling to NPCs but it's not a lot.
Also, I ran through this whole ice dungeon expecting lots of enemies but 10 minutes later I end up fighting some ghost and there was no dragon wall, can't seem to find any to learn new shouts /disappoint.
I make most my gold through the dungeons, I take practically anything... If it's worth more than 50 or so gold, I take it. That stuff starts to add up fast. Then you got all the gold on the bodies and the coin purses and what not, and I sell pretty much any enchanted gear I come across unless I haven't already learned the enchantment.
I hardly use any potions, so I take every single ingredient I come across and after I spam alchemy, I keep the few potions that I actually will use, and sell the rest.
When it actually comes time to sell, I sell what I can to the blacksmiths, then the rest I sell to the two general traders in the starting town and in Winterhold. If there's still more left over after I've sold everything I can and all the NPCs are out of gold, I store it all in a single chest in my house so I can just pick it up later and go sell it.
Bethesda Softworks just announced the fifth game in the Elder Scrolls series and the sequel to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will be called Skyrim. And it'll be out next year.
Bethesda's Todd Howard introduced the game with a brief teaser showing a stone dragon and a dramatic narration that sets up the story of the next big role-playing game in the Elder Scrolls series. That teaser also dates Skyrim for November 11, 2011.
I cannot bloody wait. I've always loved the Elder scrolls series since Daggerfall.
