So I already had a glitch happen to me. Trying to be as spoiler free as possible, but the part where you insert the key and have to rotate the rings, they were stuck and wouldn't move. I had to save and reload for them to start moving. Looking at the gamefaqs board, apprently I'm not the only one.
So i've been trying to kite kill a giant at level 2, takes forever with the spells I have atm, don't know if this is a bug, but if you get killed by a giants club swing you get catapulted 100 feet in the air..
And it's not like the direction you should be going after being hit, i'm talking straight vertical like you're being sent to heaven.

Nothing is perfect when it first comes out. Especially a game that massive.
I take it you got screwed?
I agree, a game so inredibly big and detailed is bound to have a glitch here and there BUT the glitches/bugs being mentioned are fundamentals that should have been tested and sorted long before release.
This is a traditional RPG, no? Not an online one? I haven't looked much into it but keep hearing good things. may want to download it
Yup, not online. To me, it feels like the oldest of old-school, like the original Dragon Warrior, where you were this one hero battling the world, but mixed with the newest technology and unfathomable depth. See that mountain over there on the horizon? Yeah, you can climb it. That sort of thing.
Need some help for anyone who's done some of the quests.. Nothing really spoiler-y about what I'm going to ask, but gonna put it into spoilers anyways.
I'm supposed to deliver a letter to this chick named Camille but I can't find the ***! >.< The 'view on map' thing in quest log tells me she's in Riverwood, but I've been looking up an down and I can't figure out where she is. Anyone know?
I got it off steam, took about 4hrs to download. tried to play the game windowed but it kept crashing me when loading every time, full screen was NP.
Max settings where somewhat ok, lil frame skip here and there, so bumped it down a notch, comp just squirms a little when changing areas. seems ok overall, got a level up and dont know how to specialize my character :/

Uh, you mean the love triangle thing going on there?
Ok got mine installed etc, is there anyway i can change it so i don't need to use the mouse to move the screen, ive looked in the settings and can't see anything.
Short of going out to buy a 360 pad from the local store is there anyway to change this to say the keypad arrow keys ?

So far I'm not impressed. I buy a physical copy and still need *** steam to play?
That was known ages before the game came out. Why fault the game for your own ignorance?
My own ignorance aside, requiring an offline single player game to have steam is just *** HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE no matter how you look at it. What reason could they have possibly had to make you need it just to play?
Well I got my CE last night and played a little before needing to pass out. It came in a MASSIVE box which was neatly stacked containing a rather thick art book suitable for a coffee table containing all sorts of neat information and concept art images with final results. The game with an extra disc containing a documentary on the making of, papyrus-like map of Skyrim, and lastly a badass foot-tall statue of Alduin, which I have no idea where to put now.
Anyways, here's the box at least. I'll eventually get around to making high-res scans of the book for you guys.
I'll likely be ordering the soundtrack next payday, but this one really put be back in the stoneage as far as finance goes, so don't hold your breath on me; regardless I would love to share with y'all.
I know, lolps3, but frankly I barely meet minimum requirements on my rig, so in order to do the game justice and still play it, I got it on PS3 since it's already optimized best for it until I can get the video card and quad-core the game deserves to be run on.
On a side note, 9 more days til Skyward Sword!
I'll also be more than happy to rip the CD of the Zelda Symphony they included in the bundle package. Any format/bitrate requests?
First thing I did after leaving the openning area was kill a bunny :D
Speaking of which, did anyone notice Archery is significantly more difficult and skilled to partake in than it was in Oblivion?
I mean it really requires you to sit still and take good aim before loosing your arrow, while in Oblivion you could dance around in circles with your string pulled back and still get a perfect shot off.

I don't have the game yet (DDD:) but it's not more difficult for me, because it glitched in my copy of Oblivion and never shot straight, it like flew off in a weird angle everytime I pulled the string back. Idk what happened to it.
Bethesda Softworks just announced the fifth game in the Elder Scrolls series and the sequel to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will be called Skyrim. And it'll be out next year.
Bethesda's Todd Howard introduced the game with a brief teaser showing a stone dragon and a dramatic narration that sets up the story of the next big role-playing game in the Elder Scrolls series. That teaser also dates Skyrim for November 11, 2011.
I cannot bloody wait. I've always loved the Elder scrolls series since Daggerfall.
