As crazy as it sounds, I think I'm going to continue playing on my console to void myself of temptation of using the developer console to my advantage. Once you use tgm, you almost never turn it off ._.
Ive been playing this on the ps3 didnt know that was a bad thing until my bro and blog told me it sucked. Id been having fun until then..well I still am having fun but i guess I have to do things the hard way.
I was trying really hard to be a good guy because im easily plagued with guilt...i still cant bring myself to kill friendly animals or people. I run into dungeons and make sure people are infact evil before killing them.
At the same time I just got innitiated into the thieves guild and the dark brotherhood people thing. I felt really bad when I maced that one priest to death and stabbed another when that sparkly white glowy ball told me to. Im also about to stab another priest to death and then cannibalize him. .Awesome.
Dont think ive gotten anywhere in the main storyline. Ive been doing the side quests.

Sorry about capitilization, my phone is horrid.
Why is playing on the PS3 a bad thing? I played to be the good guy as well though I wiped out the dark brotherhood. Haven't really touched the thieves guild yet. I didn't take kindly to being kidnapped lol...
Apparently the PC version is where all the cool kids are at because you get mods, quicker updates and a quick save function.
I don't really care for mods, I never even messed with my FFXI account other than smoothing out the graphics....
but a quick save would be really really nice.
Also I was told you can set the NPCs to have unlimited gold which is nice because I haul around so much trash to sell and the NPCs run out of money after 3 items.
My bro told me that the PS3 is the glitchiest of all the consoles..as far as I know I've not ran into any glitches. But the game has frozen on me twice.
I don't trust my pc enough to run a video game though. It'd be quicker to restart the PS3 if I mess up on something then it would be to restart my PC if it crashed.
The game looks really nice on our movie tv though...character graphics arent any better than ffxi but holy crap the environment is so much fun to run around in on a huge screen.

I was considering wiping out the dark brotherhood because whats-her-faces little intro with the kidnapping and forcing me to murder a person was not nice..but I'm addicted to quests and I'd lose a ton of them if I did that.
I wish I had macro sets for all my gear. I've got a collection of archery gear, melee gear, magic gear and lockpicking gear..even gear for swimming underwater and I have to manually swap it out all the time.
More importantly you can use the debug console to fix stuff in the PC version, while the console versions just becomes less stable the more time you put into the save file.
I've yet to really have any problems with glitchiness or freezes. Fall out: New Vegas on the other hand.... I do know that I will always love my console and boo the pc lol.
I couldn't help myself lol after she kidnapped me that was all she wrote...

yeah I think Im getting into a problem with my large save file..Im starting to lag in large towns.
So I got my Conjuration and Lockpicking up to 100. Feels good man! Also finished the Thieves Guild questline. It was more fun than I thought it would be, surprisingly. I think I even liked it more than the Mage questline. The finale in the Thieves Guild questline was pretty darn cool...
Now just for the Dark Brotherhood and the Stormcloaks. I can't continue with The Dark Brotherhood though, because I still want to purchase my home in Winterhold... if I continue it, the NPC I am supposed to interact with, will hold a grudge against me and therefore not allow me to get the quest required to purchase the home in Winterhold... gahhh there must be something I can do to start this damn quest... some console command to start it or something...

There's a home in Winterhold? I thought the only actual houses were in Whiterun, Solitude, Riften, Markarth and Windhelm?

Oops. I guess I had a derp moment, I meant Windhelm* lol. Winterhold, Windhelm and Whiterun confuse the crapshit out of me XD
HD Texture pack on ultra makes me want to never go outside again. Started a new char, forgot all about the difficulty mods I have installed. Raged so hard at the gd bear for 30+ mins. Whoops XD
Speaking of, I want to download the TES V Tool Kit, but I didn't see it on steam... I saw the HD Texture Pack but not the tool kit. Maybe I am overlooking something obvious but can someone tell me where I can find said tool kit?
Just an FYI; I don't know how long the Steam (Mid Week Madness) promotions last, but last night I got Morrowind GOTY, Oblivion GOTY and Skryim for 49.99. This of course allows me to use the free HD texture package and Creation Kit!
Each individual game is marked off considerably too. (Morrowind and Oblvion 50% off, Skryim 33% off)

Options>Tools>Creation Kit.
It isn't in downloads or store. Took me googling to find it myself.
Bethesda Softworks just announced the fifth game in the Elder Scrolls series and the sequel to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will be called Skyrim. And it'll be out next year.
Bethesda's Todd Howard introduced the game with a brief teaser showing a stone dragon and a dramatic narration that sets up the story of the next big role-playing game in the Elder Scrolls series. That teaser also dates Skyrim for November 11, 2011.
I cannot bloody wait. I've always loved the Elder scrolls series since Daggerfall.
