Anyone else have this glitch? When I use a potion of Fortify Marksman (147%) it kinda breaks the bow number and says 148 instead of 1543 or w/e the real number should be. 24 damage arrow + 601 bow + 147% potion.

the numbers are right, if you want to make a guy take an arrow to the knee
You will occasionally fail to absorb a dragon's soul after killing one. This issue can possibly result from fast traveling, or engaging an NPC in dialogue the moment the dragon dies. Note that some respawning dragons at Dragon shrines like Autumwatch Towers may not yield a dragon soul. You will also not absorb a soul if you mount your horse directly after killing the dragon.

Interesting that. I did fast travel, but not after killing the dragon. Its more like fast travel > dragon in the distance > run to dragon to kick its *** > kick its *** and not get a soul.
I've never had the bug where fast travel right after or mounting a horse/talking to npc will bug the soul. They always work unless I've killed the dragon before and another one respawned.
Okay, for anyone silly and crazy enough to delve into my lack of sanity, I have a question regarding my character allusion of Ganondorf (Orc) made in Skyrim, regarding which would be most fitting to remaining "in character."
Would it make more sense to join the Stormcloaks or stay with the Empire? In TES lore, it'd make more sense to side with the Empire as they've given Orcs the freedom and rights they've sought for ages, and for being in perhaps one of the most nationalistic and xenophobic provinces in Tamriel, I can only imagine Orcs siding the the Empire.
However, in Zelda lore, Ganondorf served as a sort of personal adviser to the King of Hyrule, but when the opportunity arose, he was quick to betray the King and make his own rule and reign. Granted, he is leader of his own kind: The Gerudo. So the only fitting aspect is to join the Stormcloaks for the sake of betrayal. Unless you're allowed to overthrow whomever you put into power, then that would be perfect.
Yes, I know I'm probably over-thinking everything, but it's kind of fun to do things like this.
Anyone else here make cool character references in their race/perk build?

Join the legion and do the dark brotherhood line and get the best of both worlds and plus you don't have to serve a racist piece of bleep.

Good point! I unfortunately looked ahead on the wiki and saw some spoilers, but that is indeed the best of both worlds there. I appreciate it!
i've encountered 2 glitches that make quests incompletable, one is in markarth where you get a skill book for the smith, if you have 100 skill, it wont complete the quest.
also for the bards college, if you get the lute before getting the quest to get it, then you cant turn the lute in and its stuck in your inv, though i think i got the reward for it (+1 to every sneak skill)
It's funny on my first toon I did the DB line just for the horse lol. Man I felt bad about that but after killing 2-3 horses climbing up mountains it seemed reasonable to kill for a horse that would rock lol.

I know I had 100 smithing and was able to give her the book no problem weird. It was sitting in a barrel in my house in solitude when she asked for it no issue for me. Must be something else than being 100 I think.

PS3 as well A lot and i do mean a lot of quests can and do easily break. Sad to say I had some major ones that really have me steaming like can't become Guild master or thane or buy a house. I hope they have a fix but I think my first toon is sol wit his op *** lol.
speaking of i finally got the house in windhelm, was sad to see thats theres like no chests in it =/.
i cant decided if i want to move my husband to one of the bigger houses or not, atm he's in breezehome, but i also have vlindrel hall and hjerim
It has 29 storage spaces and 0 chests??? Oh you must not have upgraded it lol looking at the wiki that house is the bomb also the house I can't get on my first toon since its bugged ><;;....

I accidentally purchased the living room upgrade for Hjerim before cleaning up the murderer's mess so I got to keep the chest that was against the wall in the living room. ^.^
edit~ There is a chest in the master bedroom as well.

I wish you could marry more than one person at a time, it's boring having only one woman give me gold and food each day. :(
I don't really want to kill my current wife. She's one of the few decent looking marriageable women in the game. Half of them are either dark elves or old nords. >.<

I bought all the upgrades and didn't have the housecarl yet either, Iro.
Also, I think Proudspire Manor is better anyway, although Hjerim does have more actual "display" places.
Just sucks in that crib Jordis room is crap lol. Lydia's is way better in breezehome unless I missed an option lol. Even the home in Markath the housecat sleeps better but damn they need an option so you can select male or female housecats lol.
Bethesda Softworks just announced the fifth game in the Elder Scrolls series and the sequel to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will be called Skyrim. And it'll be out next year.
Bethesda's Todd Howard introduced the game with a brief teaser showing a stone dragon and a dramatic narration that sets up the story of the next big role-playing game in the Elder Scrolls series. That teaser also dates Skyrim for November 11, 2011.
I cannot bloody wait. I've always loved the Elder scrolls series since Daggerfall.
