I can get a few hours in now before it starts to lag. Oddly enough the worst lag usually occurs in towns. Solitude has always been a little slow for me.
But outside the framerate stays smooth as butter for hours.
I only wish I had it on PC so I could see it on max with my rig. And to play god in the console.
Personally I'm far more comfortable with the controls on a 360 than a PC :/
As Arte said.
The 360 controller fits the hand perfectly.
Sensitivity just isnt the same.
Also I'd much rather play downstairs in my big comfy chair on a TV.
Mega bum mode.
Hated having my PC in my living room.
i prefer ps controllers, to me 360 controllers are awkward while on ps controllers the hands rest exactly in the right places
I find the PS controller small and awkward.
But it's all preference in the end.
I just know every time I play PS3 I stare at the controller and just think how much I hate it xD
Something very weird happened in my game. I came back to Riverwood to do some selling and I found the Blacksmith dead on the street no idea what killed him. Well I reanimated him and walking him back to his forge and rekilled him, and just as he was falling down I heard him say "thank you" o.o
started up a new alt save for a straight up warrior, heavy armor, 2h axe, little use of anything outside of warrior skills (except speech, enchanting, alchemy, and a little alteration for transmute~)
that happened to me with a frost dragon at bonestrewn crest today, it was cool, i was heading to the dragon's nest near shor's stone, and i look off across eastmarch and i see down in the distance a dragon circling bonestrewn crest, so i fast travel there
When I first started playing this game, I said, "I really like this game play! And the graphics, omg... Just hope there aren't any giant spiders..." 5 mins later, walk into a nest of them...
Now I;m doing the Break of Dawn quest and this cave is full of them D:
(huge case of arachnophobia. I cringe every time I walk past a dead one, thinking it's playing dead... My fear is so bad, I refuse to move from a spot without Aura Whisper in effect. Dx)
I just killed an Elder Dragon that was apparently a mark for Riften... But, uh... I didn't absorb its soul. >_>
By Any Chance you have Shadowmere and it Attacked the Dragon when you were Fighting it? Theres a Glitch in all versions that can cause this.
Happened to me today.
Bethesda Softworks just announced the fifth game in the Elder Scrolls series and the sequel to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will be called Skyrim. And it'll be out next year.
Bethesda's Todd Howard introduced the game with a brief teaser showing a stone dragon and a dramatic narration that sets up the story of the next big role-playing game in the Elder Scrolls series. That teaser also dates Skyrim for November 11, 2011.
I cannot bloody wait. I've always loved the Elder scrolls series since Daggerfall.
