Is this normal? I was in Riverwood doing some random quest and decided to stop by the blacksmithing forge or whatever to improve some of my weapons, and this girl walked up to the table and literally grew in size and started pounding some metal with a hammer.
Okay, stupid question, but I haven't bought a horse yet and I was wondering where you should "park" it when you wish to enter a fort, dungeon or anything of the like without having it run off, since that was typically the case in Oblivion and in real life for that matter.
On a side note: Anyone notice magic resistance totally being broken? Mages can one shot me downright effortlessly :/

1) Aslong as you bought the horse(not found it, stole it) you can park it where ever you want, everytime you fast travel it will be right next to you aswell.
2) I told you the patch broke it >.> theres no magic resistance at this current moment.
Well, looks like I gotta buy my horse, since the ones I have found but are not considered stolen go their own way the moment I dismount.
Also, that sucks. Looks like I'll have to wait for 1.03.
On a side note: Exactly how difficult is it to find Ebony ores/ingots? I see one on sale for 400ish gold. Should probably nab it eh?

I would. One more bought ebony is one less farmed ebony.

Weird things happen at 6 am dude. I think I'm about to learn the Elder Scrolls theme music on acoustic.
Think that'll woo Abri?! :x
Never actually listened to it, but maybe :O
Bai, playing Morrowind while I cut myself for lack of Skyrim.

I thought we got a companion for finishing the thieves guild, i may of been mistaken.
You can get one from completing the Dark Brotherhood, some initiate girl.
That and you could count the ghost of Lucien Lachance you can summon after completing one of the main Dark Brotherhood quests. He'll stay around until he's defeated and at times has some rather interesting dialogue pertaining to what you are doing. He is quite funny during the last few quests for the Dark Brotherhood.
idk I killed a bunch of stormcloaks after the war arch was finished, but I have not really looked into it. I know that I can't kill the captains of the camps for whatever reason. :/

Yeah I think those are unkillable NPCs for storyline purposes.
But WTF, right when I was going to slay me some Imperials, a dragon started fire breathing them before I could touch them, so I kill the dragon now they're all pissed at me still D:
So I went into a bandit camp to get some guys sword that belonged to his father, and when I first entered I saw a guy sitting down and at first I shot him but then found out right after he was Ultric the Blind. D: so I reloaded and came back walked passed him and noticed a book, so I looked at the title "Ulfric the Blind's Book" and all the pages were blank. I laughed a lot.
Bethesda Softworks just announced the fifth game in the Elder Scrolls series and the sequel to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will be called Skyrim. And it'll be out next year.
Bethesda's Todd Howard introduced the game with a brief teaser showing a stone dragon and a dramatic narration that sets up the story of the next big role-playing game in the Elder Scrolls series. That teaser also dates Skyrim for November 11, 2011.
I cannot bloody wait. I've always loved the Elder scrolls series since Daggerfall.
