i'm running through the wilderness, and randomly this guy comes up to me and is like "hey there you are! i got the hat, now give me the 10k gold you bet me!"
i thought it was funny that theres still after effects of that quest even after finishing it.
btw you can persuade him down to 750 gold pretty easily (i think... my speech is 100 so...) and probably to 0 too
Huh?! Oh right! Well come closer so I can give it to you.
Okay, making a stereotypical "Thor" character for fun.
I hope this build seems fitting.
Obligatory mace with shock enchantment named Mjölnir.
Note: Intentionally stopping at Ebony armor since nothing else looks remotely as cool or fitting. Daedric... a little too overbearing in the demonic department. Not looking to make anything "ultimate".
I lol'd much harder at that pic than I should have.
Also that is pretty gnarly coincidence, or that is one of the most elaborate well thought out and descriptive means of using allusion and references ever.
Basically, it's a soul trap enchantment that also does 10 points of fire damage. You can't adjust the fire damage dealt, only the duration of the soul trap. But, this only counts as one enchantment, and stacks with others if you have the double enchantment perk.
Seriously, I love Fiery Soul Trap. Two enhancements already built together is awesome :)
Placed on my bow and only need 1 sec soul trap cause it is the deadliest soul farming weapon in game lol. Love it...
I only used 1 second soul traps for years, until Skyrim introduced the killshot animations that take longer than 1 second. So many Grand and Greater souls lost because my character was doing some flashy animation to kill a Giant or Bandit. All my soul trap weapons are now 5 seconds, just in case.
And I know, bows don't have killshot animations. 1 sec is fine for bows. Just sayin.
Aww, I somehow managed to persuade Mikal the bard in Whiterun to leave that one vendor chick alone. Too bad too, I really wanted to knock his lights out. Pow! Right in the kisser!
i dunno everytime i go back there the gaurds attack me. only thing i can think of is when i kill imperials to free stormcloak prisoners.
Im trying to progress in the story line and i was getting attack so had to restart a while back X.x
Riverwood is simply a small town owned by the Jarl of Whiterun that remains relatively neutral until further in the questline for either side of the war. But I'm 99.9% sure there's virtually nothing regarding held captives in Riverwood. Just Gurder's family supporting the stormcloaks and the blacksmith's family supporting the Imperials.
Just spent 30 mins trying to kill a backwards flying dragon....they get to 0% health and just continue to fly around limp, but still make noise ._________________.

So I randomly decided to use a potion during a fight tonight and it seems I went to the menu right as the animation of me getting my head cut off started. Since I still had a sliver of health, I figured "lol what would happen if I used a full recovery potion now?" You see here the results.. I zoned, saved, loaded, fast travelled.. my head never came back but helmets were still visible. Sorry for the shaky picture, going back on an old save now to try to keep my head on my shoulders xD
omg, just had the ***scared out of me, i had just fast traveled to dragonbridge and was reading the forums with the light field music playing and then suddenly
DOVahKiiN! DOVahKiiN! NaaL OK ZIN LOS VahRiiN!
O.O
oh my jesus its an elder dragon too. first one i've seen
Bethesda Softworks just announced the fifth game in the Elder Scrolls series and the sequel to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will be called Skyrim. And it'll be out next year.
Bethesda's Todd Howard introduced the game with a brief teaser showing a stone dragon and a dramatic narration that sets up the story of the next big role-playing game in the Elder Scrolls series. That teaser also dates Skyrim for November 11, 2011.
I cannot bloody wait. I've always loved the Elder scrolls series since Daggerfall.
