Just keep playing and check your blacksmith shops every 2 days (game days) to see their updated stock. Also regular merchants that sell normal gear might have them, not sure.
Other than that I think it's not possible unless you find a piece laying around or in a chest.
Yep all the merchants that can sell apparel gear have the chance to have items with +smithing on them. I camped most of them for items to disenchant and I swear right after a high priced item shows up and i destroy it the next freaking place I go I get tons of drops with the enchants on em >.>...
There was a chest inside of a Dwarven ruin, think it was one of the ones in the main quest, had to jump up some moving pylons to reach it. Every time I've opened it it's had a pair of Smithing gloves in it.
I found a ring of smithing before, but can't remember where I found it. ._.
This is me with any notable gear anyone asks about it. Oh it was a (insert gear here) of something...and I found it somewhere either during a quest or between quests. Was I any help to you?
tbh i find most of my enchanted loot in town at the stores. i had one moment were i bought a necklace of the firewalker (70% fire resist was like DO WANT) in whiterun like 30 seconds before a dragon attacked inside the town, thought i was going to kick its *** and be immune but it turned out to be an ancient frost dragon instead ._. least all the nords kicked its ***though

lol
Vendors resupply every 24 hours. Just map out a few vendors and fast travel to them until you get what you need. Fast travelling from Whiterun to Solitude takes like 12 hrs, so just going from town to town is enough, dont need to /wait
Once I found a smithing ring, I desynthed it and made a ring, necklace, hands and body all with 22% smithing

I was speaking of when I try to help people with gear I've found they are looking for.
God *** damn it! Was just capturing the last fort for the Imperials had just hit 0% troops remaining and my game just silent crashed on me. Anyone else have silent crashes at almost 12 straight hours of playing?
how meny Dragon Priest are there? i'v killed 2 & only 1 had a mask on them ;_;
Dragon priests are pretty common at the end of dungeons (specifically nordic ruins?), but there are only 8 unique dragon priests that drop masks. I believe if you collect all 8, you gain access to a final mask somewhere.
be careful with dawnbreaker though, its glow gets more intense the closer you are to undead. damn thing could give you away if youre sneaking around. kinda badass that its like Sting though
So at the end of the winter hold quest line you not only become the archmage, running the place, but get the room with a ton of goodies. And a chest at the end of your bed that can store more items.
It seems wearing his robe allows for the continous casting of telekinesis under any circumstance which is sweet :D
But if i do keep my stuff in this chest in this room it really wont go away right?
i'm running through the wilderness, and randomly this guy comes up to me and is like "hey there you are! i got the hat, now give me the 10k gold you bet me!"
i thought it was funny that theres still after effects of that quest even after finishing it.
btw you can persuade him down to 750 gold pretty easily (i think... my speech is 100 so...) and probably to 0 too

even with uber smithing you cant make its base damage worth using :( was pretty disappointed with that, liked how it looked
just did it, didnt help, i dont see any of the higher level spells actually :/
Might be silly, but save your game and try unlocking the perk for the tier of spellcasting for the spell you need if you haven't already.
I noticed the court wizards sold more scrolls after I unlocked the perk for higher level of spells. Might just be a coincidence though.
Perhaps just rest/wait for a day and check back to see if his inventory changes.
Bethesda Softworks just announced the fifth game in the Elder Scrolls series and the sequel to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will be called Skyrim. And it'll be out next year.
Bethesda's Todd Howard introduced the game with a brief teaser showing a stone dragon and a dramatic narration that sets up the story of the next big role-playing game in the Elder Scrolls series. That teaser also dates Skyrim for November 11, 2011.
I cannot bloody wait. I've always loved the Elder scrolls series since Daggerfall.
