That's what quicksaves are for silly.

I always quicksave before going crazy with sticky fingers. I steal things from main storyline characters all the time. I stole the leader of Whiterun's weapon while he was sitting on his throne.

Generally if I go to do something ballsy like pickpocket the queen or try to assassinate a small child I'll quicksave it so if the outcome.. sucks (aka I die or have a lynchmob chasing me) I can reload it at the spot my quicksave is and either try again or try something else.

(If you didn't know the quicksave saves what you are doing that exact moment and when you load that save you'll be doing exactly what you were when you hit Q-save.) There's only 1 quicksave file though. So use normal saves for progression, and quicksave for 'right before boss fights or trying something stupid'

I've decided that when I've finished with my current character (getting all the achievements/major quests and whatnot) I will be making a challenge character. Master difficulty, and no crafting allowed (this includes improving weapons/armor). I will force myself to use only what I can find.

Monk class is probably going to give the most difficulty. Monk classes generally suffer in the beginning of most games and either get to an intermediate levels endgame or start out strong at the beginning and start losing its shine later on in games(this could just be in comparison with other weapons getting just much better).

One of the bigger difficulties could be getting the dragon to land(without the shout)since monks are skilled with archery/magic.

Could also do a pseudo summoner type.

Actually a hand-to-hand character is probably the most overpowered until you get into Daedric weapons.

Khajiit get a flat +15 damage bonus to H2H, and then Heavy Gauntlets (using the perk) add the DEF bonus directly to damage as well. Khajiit in Heavy Armor hit harder than great axes and 4x as fast.

Edit: Oh, you mean that kind of monk. That's called a Witchhunter though, no?

Actually the strongest weapons in the game are 1handed weapons. However we're not improving or enchanting anything so I can see h2h being strong.

However, h2h is directly affect by armor rating. Since monks dont specialize in Heavy armor, that would be restricted to only using gauntlets for heavy armor(for obvious reasons).

That means with 1 piece of heavy armor, you lost out on a 50% bonus to any armor combo.

That means their total armor rating would be 88 before perks/skill. 100 skill would grant 123. full 5/5 perks(Id assume theyd need 5/5 for gauntlets to get max def rating aswell) would be 246.

That means you have a total 346 armor as a monk(396 with lord stone) However I dont know if the bonus -invisible- armor rating also applies to h2h or if the visible AR is what is applied. Either way youre at a 41% PDT rate and overall your h2h is no where near what it could be with different gear + upgrades or even enchants.

Edit: the summoner suggestion was a total different setup, not monk + summoning things, but an actual summoner type.

Are you on PC? If so then it's F12, then you have to go into your STEAM folder to fish them out unless you use FRAPS.

FRAPS is a very small program that lets you record video or take screenshots with just a press of a button. Download it, install it, and never look back, basically. I have it running at all times, it doesn't increase processor load by any noticeable degree or anything.

Looks like your kitty got a cat scratch :o
But it looks pretty good. I especially like the prominent M mark on the forehead like a Maine Coon kitty.

Now I'm torn whether I should make my ninja assassin character a kajiit or a dark elf >.>

Edit: God damn it

I actually plan on doing this on my next character.

Also are the permanent thralls you can summon more powerful than the atronachs?

I have the perk that makes them 50% stronger, and the atronachs say upgraded when I summon them but not the thralls.

It's pretty hard to judge on the damage they do, so I was wondering if anyone knew.
