Guy in my linkshell(and a few others) were messing with the bots by casting Teleport Holla on them when they invited; in this case, the bot they moved got caught by a GM.
Go figure, they're working.

I'm assuming Mordion is where the GM jail is, where they bascially do the interrogations.. >< HAHA.. ( round rooom with no corners.. with 1 chair and 1 light and no doors or windows...)

Quick question, how did you know it was a bot (signs of botting) and how did you explain to the GM that the bot was a bot?
signs of a tele bot:
they invite you in less than a second of you shouting. they are teleporting for more than a few hours. you have been invited numerous times by the same person, and they always say the same EXACT thing. there are probably other signs that people can stack onto the list, but these are most obvious to me. oh, if you suspect a tele bot, warp back with them when they warp back, and shout again for the same teleport, lol... see how that conversation goes... Better question: What do you say to a GM to get somebody jailed for "botting"?

LOL I have camped whitegate to retrace people before to make gil, I usualy say the same thing, "hello" and "take care" after trade. And I grab people as soon as possible, not hard to do with a bit of experiance. Course doesn't mean people arn't botting this anything is possible lol tell them who you think is botting. GMs actually will send random messages to botters that are AFK. if the bot doesn't answer the questions, or they answer them incorrectly, then they will be warped to jail for questioning. and guess who isn't there to testify their innocence?
Most people get beat out by computers. If you ever compete with a tele bot, which i know my LS has, then you will understand. I don't believe tele bots advertise their service, less they are that stupid. Most just wait for someone to shout for a tele, and instantly invite them as soon as the writing is on the screen.

nah. people call GM of stupid things all the time, and the GM will eventually come, or speak to the person they complain about. probably why the time to speak to a GM is so long...

Been there once before to get scammed crafting mats back. They wernt able to return them (Assuming he sold them on a mule or something, so I get a booby prize of 90k gil from 500k worth of mats. I heard that tele/retrace bots will accept any method of payment.. that is.. you can trade them anything to start the tele/retrace.. Some people I know trade them earth crystals one by one to fill up their inventory.. or other low cost things. I guess someone might use the inventory sort option.. so try giving them cheap stuff that doesn't stack!

He woulodn't respond after we teleported him, a GM was probablyt randomly asking them to see if they are botting or not, and it just so happens that he was there, not being responded to, when Ragnell teleported him after he was invited.

This is correct, Ive not tried it recently but a tele-bot in jeuno (a long long time ago, forgot the name) would accept literally anything as payment. Hmmm funny because we was trying to do that I had the bot add me to the party then "retrace me" which i couldnt be retraced and tried trick attacking him to get mpk'd Soon as we got one a mob to attack someone killed it when it turned yellow again, hence the reason why I said noooooo, when i looked back to find him i saw a Gm got him, much Lols was had every time a bot picks me up in wg i just set gil to 1k for like 5 secs, then i change it to 1g. lol
