I spoke to kine a while back and he said it was one of the jobs he was currently trying to make time for and do, but with the mechanics to dark(SE/LR) it would be a bit tricky and take a little longer to do. Im sure hes just backed up with work atm to finish it.
@Tiger: Agreed, however if SE ever gave spharai victory smite, it would out do Vere or be on par. I for a while thought they would to stay true to them stating that relics would be top weapons etc. I think perhaps theyll either boost up the proc or keep boosting up the ws damage %(doubt that would help it though...)
Also for ppl curious, victory smite average is 4k-4.7k almost 5k so ya its rivalying ukko's fury ws outside of restraint its that good. A-fury barely averages above 3k(3.1-3.2k in perfect gear/buffs).

You think so? The ODD on vere truly does shine for damage output.

If it had Smite Spharai's 3x damage and higher D would pull it up, more so if the 35 attack is being used

You mind pointing me in the direction of these numbers? This sounds like something Kinematics threw together for fun. I am not refuting the general consensus, just curious really.

From briefly playing around with Motenten's spreadsheet, it's not as big a gap as it sounds. Spharai does have an edge if given access to Smite as long as its attack is relevant, but as far as I know the spreadsheet doesn't account for ODD or triple damage procs. While Spharai procs will do more damage/hit, ODD procs more frequently and eliminates much of the difference. The counter+ on Spharai should ensure its advantage though, at least outside Abyssea.

On the spreadsheet, you have to manually add the damage multiplier (idk if he has it programmed for 1 or two fists, but I'd assume one) and i guess average out the numbers from the non ODD

I've been doing it by hand but if there's a toggle or something in the spreadsheet that I'm not seeing I'd love to know about it.

Row 50, column f/g
"Melee Multiplyer" it's set to 1 by default. Change that manually to 1.3, 1.4, or 1.5 depending on aftermath level

Good to know, thanks. Looks like it's programmed for two fists, I got a ~26% increase out of 1.3 so I'm assuming kicks are properly excluded.

You have to set the multiplier to 1.15 for the aftermath on h2h.

I just noticed while looking at Chuck's equip page to confirm the black tathlum, does he even have Spharai? It seems he has everything linked properly to ffxiah.com, and it shows he has a Gandiva, but no Spharai. Is there some filter relic's option or something, I am not to sure what's going on with that...

I would assume he wouldn't bother defending Spharai if he wasn't an owner, I wonder why they aren't listed in his profile.

Lv75+ relics won't show on LS Community page, only show on Guildwork.
And as said, parses against others are useless. And since you're biased I doubt you obtaining Rev Fists would help.
Also about the spreadsheet, how do I set /war? >.>
So it shows the 10% DA trait, I can click the Berserk and ***, but I want that trait in there =D
Btw funny how the spreadsheet still likes GH for Spharai over VV, must be the crit rate % of GH.

Quote: Btw funny how the spreadsheet still likes GH for Spharai over VV, must be the crit rate % of GH. May have to do w/ less of your damage coming from WS and further towards the TP side (since the 50 str shouldn't do anything cause of capped fstr) and the lesser str mod of Afury to smite.

Been very busy of late, and not keeping up with the spreadsheets. This reminded me I needed to get back to some of them.
Did preliminary work for a drk spreadsheet. Added Endark, and it handles several weapon types (doesn't try to calculate Fell Cleave for GA, though), but doesn't yet work in LR/SE.
As I don't have a very deep understanding of full drk mechanics and gear choices, I'm just throwing it up for others to check out first.

Only real comments are the obvious, needs relic ws+haste aftermath, redemption ws, and the obvious SE/LR factors as those are the scale tippers for drk imo.
Full timing SE(merited) is a very big and noticeable boost. Sadly I cant say the same about LR as much as a huge increase it is in 30 seconds, its just that, 30 seconds, way to small and very many factors that will reduce its overall usefullness.
Personally I found it best to use SE as soon as it was up and use LR when it was down, I found it was better balanced that way. If that helps on how to put them in your spreedsheet.

Since this is rather out of place in a Victory Smite thread, I'll put my questions in the Damage Calculator thread in the drk forum, if you can check on that.

Would Alcide's Harness +1 (STR+6 Increases crit dmg Acc+11) Be better than using Tantra body +1/+2 For smite? Didn't see anything on it figured I'd ask before I drop gil on it. lol

Dumb question, what's a good pair of leg for VS if one doesn't have access to sky or ZNMs?
Ok I am not a mnk main by any stretch of the definition but I do have the 30 advancement coins to finish the +1 weapon once I have finished the nm trials.
This is what I am planning on using as soon as I finish within the next week. My main question is, what gorget should I be using with this weaponskill and is it better than a neck with 5+ str. My other question is with VS being a 4 hit /ws do I really need to concern myself with ACC should I upgrade to hefoc mitts?
Any other constructive help would be appreciated. Thanks.
