We're clearly not playing the same game. Dragoon's gotten a ***ton of love lately.
Let me just say this about the job emotes... im glad that my avatar will now become of reality. (yes I know the wings in the avatar are different then the game's but still).
My favourite one hands-down is Black Mage's, but I also loved Corsair's, Warrior's, Monk's, White Mage's... hell, pretty much everyone's. lol
I'm also pretty sure that during this year's Vana'fest they said something about how each job would get multiple job-specific emotes. But it also says "the complete set of twenty" on the site, so I think this is all we're getting for this update. Here's hoping for another 20 down the road!!

Probably trade 20 sausages to a NM after you proc. double !! of all kinds and must deliver the final blow while standing on your head. That kind of deal.

Spam a few hundred emotes on desired job until your player starts to "feel something stirring within". Then continue to spam a few hundred more emotes until it unlocks...must be in Aht Urghan Whitegate main plaza and the emote must be used on another character and cannot use /emote motion. BRING IT! >8D

The thing that has me wondering, are there going to be any restrictions on these? (Rhetorical question. No one knows right now) It just seems like some of these would be a bit too problematic if you let people just spam them nonstop (and you all know you will try when you get them). Going to be a lot of lag with hundreds of people spamming them in a small area. I also wonder if we'll be able to use them in towns or not. The video just shows them being used outdoors and in a dungeon.
My guess is that every job will be getting 2 emotes, 1 cheesy particle effect, and 1 involving more substantial motion. This would explain why some of the emotes you see in the video are just a particle effect + a currently available emote, because that's just what it is.

I like SAM,COR,WHM,BRD and SMN.
BST,DRG,PLD and PUP got jipped
RDM is bleh, DRK is ok, MNK is meh, BLU is meh.
SCH i kinda wtf'd on.. RNG i didn't understand til earlier..
DNC i think might be that the pom-poms come and you can do anything with them. Not necessarily just doing the one dance but maybe they just stay on for a certain amount of time.
