First answer is that there's still some bandwagon SAM's around. My WS DMG is mad good so I must be the greatest!

And yes you should aim for a 5hit with the 437 delay, tricky but worthwhile.

Edit.

Byrnie +1 vs Twilight Mail depends on the mob, and Varangian Helm is better than Twilight Helm. You'd be right in thinking Atheling is the best back piece too.

TP in this set up will let me 5hit in abyssea with VV

and still allow me to WS in this set up right?

Doesn't changing your strap clear your TP?

Edit: oh n/m, I misunderstood your correction at the bottom

Assuming 5/5 stp merits, ffxicalc says 17.4tp from your WS hit and 20 per swing, putting you at 97.4tp from 5 hits. You would need 2 VV tics to get to 100, which is quite possible I would say.

Hi everyone.

I need some check up pls. I ve read the thread but i miss tons of items mentioned in the sets.

That beeing mine. Things i dont have or am far to get that i know would add to it. Snow belt, Heafoc, hachi pants. Are there any other options that would help here?
Also if i happen to get ath. mantle. would it be a worthwile swap on unkai (im guessing yes but need backup)

Or just add any advice to that pls.

Sub question: what atmas best for that?

Razed ruins still always has to be 1 atma even with 2 hander weap jobs right? VV is good as for baying moon im sure either apoc atma or alpha/omega would beat it.

Belt is .1 fTP. Whether or not that beats 15 atk and 2 DA depends on the rest of your gear and your target. For my fudo setup, it was a slight upgrade over snow belt.

Is it just me or this sheet doesnt have bushino ear in it?

EDIT:
Nvm found the page to add it but i dont know how to add GK skill into it

Baying Moon is alright as far as a +Att atma, but there are better options to use. As Krsone pointed out, Alpha & Omega would do you more, as would Apocalypse. Personally though, I've found myself using Smiting Blow as my third Atma atma for Fudo (alongside VV and SA) due to the TP Bonus: Superior it gives. Though it's just eyeballing, I've noticed far more consistent high numbers with Smiting Blow over A&O (A&O only really gave big numbers when a Triple Attack would proc during Fudo).

Their archery skill is high enough to learn it, but as for actually being able to use it upon learning I don't know.

hmm after looking, rose strap isn't needed to 5-hit massamune and not gimp WS gear. I may go ahead and do my massamune then, lol.

Is it worth having Berk up/down WS sets? one with Byr+1 and att friendly items and then one with Twilight mail/unkai back?

Yes, always. Unless you are fighting paper thin defensive mobs where just having RCB/dia2 is enough to cap you, but on anything worth mentioning, yes having up/down sets is always good to have.

Having multiple ws sets will allow to maintain your ws average as high as possible.

If your having a hard time 5-hitting with a 437/450 gktn, af3+2 chest is a decent option. Compared to byrnie+1, you get -1att, -5str, +10stp. Askar isn't terrible either.

comparing lvl 90 WoE GK and 85 masa, woe's gk has 1 more dmg but not the 10str or aftermath affect or masa. So WS wise they are about the same. And Hiradennotachi is fugly :/

You're comparing an 85 GK with a 90 GK, of course the 90 will have higher damage. Compare 90 and 90 and Masa obviously comes out on top for base damage, but even then the 1 DMG difference on 85 masa and 90 woe masa comes out on top.

I don't see anything wrong with Hiradennotachi! For those of us without high playtime/dedicated friend(s) to help, Hira is as good as it's going to get and the thing does some very respectable damage!

I got the Hiradennotachi before Masamune, and on anything worth a damn I think Gekko > Fudo. So in some cases I reckon the Keitonnotachi +2 with TP Bonus will outperform the Hiradennotachi.

Masamunes aftermath is the decider imo.

I am a little sad that Fudo kind of sucks. However even without aftermath it is way better than Gekko. In abyss I feel embarrassed when a NIN outdamages me on a ws but RR is broken.

It doesnt get better it gets worse and when you hit the VNMs I hope you have help because they suck *** as a solo Sam. Kill your NMs watch some tv and pray it is 1 hr and not several per pop.
