Hey guys,
been browsing through all my mp3s today and found a few songs i used to love. i gotta admit i'm all into "old school" hip hop and dont like hip hop nowadays much.

Tupac was awesome, i love his voice. This was one of my first "Party songs", i love the beat ... not the most poetic lyrics though ;)

Thing is with most of these post your favourite things threads is people post their favourite but seldom do the check others, of course everyone knows how cali love goes :D, But sevourn I never knew about Duane and Brando, I was checking their other work too its quite ammusing not something Id want to listen to very often its more of a comical song than a rap.
Tech Nine, hard to say his best though..

Lupe Fiasco - Lupe the killer (from the "Revenge of the NERDS" mixtape) Note: Lupe Fiasco is one of the only remaining hip hop artists with substance. lol i love when the offspring mentions vanilla ice in their pretty fly song :P ... my co worker never heard of vanilla ice & ice cube and he was like "wtf this isnt even funny. why does he get an ice cube when he wants vanilla ice?!"

Thing is im not really a fan of gangsta rap or alot of the mainstream, the video you posted was great and others from that duo were funny too just saying the beat isnt for me unlike that bizzaro genius baby that had a nice beat could actually listen to on my ipod on the train. |
