Defending Ring hasn't dropped for 4 years on my server last time I checked and I've camped half of that from boredom. But I guess that isn't a personal record, more like a server record~ I've never seen it drop or heard of it dropping though. 0/~150 on Leaping Boots is probably my worst personal record. 1/1 on Vivian Ring is my personal best without treasure hunter. I think my absolute worst (at least, that I can think of right now) would probably be 1/17 on O. kote. Not even sure about my Shinryu numbers since I really haven't kept track... but I know that I have yet to see a mail or cloak drop. Also, If I count Salvage, I'm 0 for life on 35 Ares's pants, but since i started going very late, the number isn't that high.
My best would be 1/4 on Trotter Boots, 1/4 on Dryad Staff, 1/4 on Leaping/bounding boots, 1/4 on Birdbanes, 1/3 on E Hairpin and 1/2 on Argus. Ha, another was 1/1 on Ose when Assault Jerkin was actually a "decent" body piece for drg. You know... upon looking at this.. I collect a lot of useless crap.. O kotes was a long period of camping as well for my ex's. I think we were above 15. Might've broke 20.

I've only had one drop out of probably about a good 40-50 times I've killed that tonberry now. Shepherd's Chain fml. -.-

I didn't actually keep track, but once, many years ago, I got a Mermaid piece from the NM that drops it 100%, and decided to go after the other pieces and hope for a Mermaid Ring to sell (back when people actually used the stupid thing). I figured "hey, I'm a THF, why not?" I got 2 of the other pieces without any trouble. But the piece that drops from Brook Sahagins.... let's just say I get mad anytime I see a Brook Sahagin, even now, years later. I ended up soloing about 25-30k exp or so on them before getting it. All that with TH2, and at about 20-30 exp/mob. Soo... prolly somewhere around 1/800? 1/1000? Something completely ridiculous.

In the olden days when all I had to worry about was RDM Maat, there was the race for the Moldavite Earring (back when there would be someone actually attempting to camp it) as I was convinced this was the key to winning the fight. 0/16.
I gimped my way to beating Maat on my first try anyways, then nabbed the earring later for kicks. 1/17 the next day. so schway The most painful NM record for me was

There was a running joke in my LS - as I lived in that damn castle for like 3 month - that if you killed Odude he would drop impact knuckles. And the day I finally got them, was the day before they announced they were adding a Rare/EX version. So I was still fighting RMT right up to the last claim. I had to kill Mysticmaker Profblix some 50 times. I knew the window so well, and was so good at the claiming it, people would basically leave when they saw me in there. (Gravity is still the best claim spell.) I wouldn't fight Maat with out it, and it took me 3 months to get it. I even capped Enhancing magic at Lv.70 in there, and then forgot to equip it for the fight. Bahamut.Nixak said: 1/1 on the Joytoy. I didn't even spend more than an hour in that place.
