Moving Retainers

I know this should be common knowledge, but I can't seem to move my retainer to a different ward. I am even having difficulty summoning it at the little bells as well. When I try to summon my retainer in either place it says, "you are unable to perform that action at this time". The only way I can check my bazaar or trade items is to go to the ward my retainer is in and click directly on it. So, how do I change wards or summon my retainer otherwise, or is this an issue on the games end? Thanks for any help.

Think you have to dismiss your retainer before you can call it somewhere else.

Was hoping that wasn't the answer but feared it was. So I loaded up my retainer with all the bone horas I crafted and random drops I got, but now that the horas are gone, I cannot move to a different ward to sell the other junk I have? I hope this next update fixes this retainer/ward system.

Select "dismiss your retainer for now" then teleport to the new ward and you will be able to summon it there. You won't lose any of the materials you've stored on it and its bazaar will remain unchanged. Selecting "release your retainer from service" is equivalent to deleting it and with that you risk losing any items stored.

lol well the funny thing is , if you summon him in one of the wards and forgot where it is, how can you retrieve it again? cause when you use the bell it wont come if you put it up in the wards

You can go into your Main Menu and select Retainer List and it lists its location.

Thanks, that clears it up a lot, I was afraid to dismiss for fear of losing all my stuff.
