(Hint: Askar body is the single most useless body in the game for any decently-geared samurai. Additionally, have you ever even looked at Haub and Shura side-by-side and contemplated the stat differences? Even the NQ is better than shura, askar, and osode for TPgain.

This whole discussion stemmed from your very crude remark about somebody using an NQ Amemet Mantle alongisde a Velocious Belt on Corsair. Fair enough, I wouldn't choose to use that combo either. I wouldn't use Velocious Belt on Corsair full stop, but that's just my preference.

You talk of a big picture, yet I think you're the one who can't see it. In the big scheme of this game, the game is still a game. People who really understand the big picture of this game understand this fact. You pay for your monthly fee, so you can play things the way you want. The same goes for Aledacia. She pays her fee, so she can use an NQ Amemet Mantle if she wants to.

Who cares how she plays the game, the gear choices she makes? They are none of your business, unless you should find yourself to be associating yourself with the individual. Even then, it's not really much of your business, though being her friend you would be entitled to an opinion. I don't want to get into a big debate about how a HQ is better than NQ (asides from the fact it is pretty obvious, but that is not relevant to the subject at hand), there are plenty better things we could discuss regarding this game, or we could resume trolling again, whichever would be more enjoyable to everyone.

If you want to start telling people how to play the game, pay their subscription for them. Until then, back off, and worry about something a little more concerning than somebody who you probably don't even play the game with. She might be on your server, but from the way you look down on her, I'm assuming you aren't acquainted. Correct me if I am wrong, however.

I don't wish to show disrespect, as you are clearly an experienced and knowledgeable player, but I find people like you, who think that because they have this experience or have been around for awhile they can look down on other people and their methods, offensive. If you can answer this question civily and articulately, I would be very interested to hear your side of the answer. I have often wondered why so many people on Garuda stick their noses into other people's gear choices, when really they should be concentrating more on their own. It would be interesting to hear that from the other point of view, rather than just my judgement (which has been known to be innacurate on occasion.)

Oh, and heck, I'd swap plenty of my HQ's for a Velocious Belt. Who wouldn't?

Actually, that gearset was taken from floor1 in Silver Sea Remnants. Soboro is by-far the best weapon for SAMs on floor1 of any salvage run :\

The only semi-legitimate argument about using the Askar Body is not because of the Double Attack.

Last I checked Soboro was the optimal GKT for sam/rng, relic bow or otherwise <_< fastest TP gain and the weaker GKT is irrelevant because you don't WS with it.

That was not the point. Point was +double attack is counter-productive when using with multi-proc weapons, which would make Askar non-apealing as other choices out there. However, when it comes to a TP Gain set Haste and +double attack, attack and accuracy is all that matters. +Str does little for you for TP Gain and should only be considered in WS setup.

I know for a fact that it is impossible to get over a 90% hitrate on birds, or anything more difficult than birds, with Askar Body on Samurai. I don't care what gear you have in any other slot; its impossible.

Unless you use sushi.

3. I have been working on getting an Amemet Mantle +1, I was waiting until after I got Martial Gun, which as you can see I now have. Been sick as hell so I haven't been on much.

4. I put in the effort to get a Velocious Belt. So what, who cares? Stop being jealous idiots and go put in your time instead of whining at other people who don't give a ***.

Unless you are using Tomoe you should not have a reason for not having high acc vs any merit mobs save for Mamool thfs. As far as food goes you shouldn't be using it at bird camp to begin with. Unless you are an elvaan cor/nin then that case bring a couple of stacks of cheap sushi.

You will not have 95% accuracy if you are using an Askar Body + notsushi unless your buffs are HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE.

Bird camps, DDs should be spamming Mithkabobs at the least. Cheap and improves damage by a fair amount.
