Job: War80/nin mostly or /sam
food: mostly Crab sushi

Gear setup for TP'ing


Gear setup for WS

Still working on my mkd helmet with ws acc+15 and ws dmg+2%

The axe is probably gonna end with the 6store tp. at lest now its already better then my old forth div toporok


Merits so far
Gaxe cap'ed
Str Cap'ed
Dbl atk Cap'ed
crit hit rate cap'ed

I've merited once in
warrior charge
tomahawk
savagery

So far my warrior charge is macro'ed into my ws macro.


The question is: What direction should i use my merits now ?

Should i cap warriors charge as much as possible for my WC on my ws's
or should i work on savagery and recast of warcry ?


I'm somehow looking to cap'ing warrior charge as warcry pulls to much hate in the middle of combat.


but any advice is really appreciated

Berserk 5/5, Double Attack 5/5, Warrior's Charge 5/5, Tomahawk 1/5, Savagery 4/5, GA 4/4 (have polearm and scythe which are needed more :/ Get 8 if you can), Crit 4/4, STR 5/5 is what I have.

WC next

Use Marinara Pizza +1. If that isn't an STP Sumeru, use Rose Strap. NPC abyssea gear and buy some better WS gear, like a better STR ring, Hauberk (+1 when gil allows, it's fairly cheap now) and get a Fire Bomblet eventually. I NPC'd about 140k cruor worth of abyssea gear for ~300k gil so it's a decent way of getting gil if you hate farming.

i think i might go something identical but keep up both agressor and berser k recast

I wouldn't use a berk+1 over Perle body, but i agree with the rest, don't ws in Perle hands, get some pallas or alkys, back you could swap for foragers mantle for RR or Smilodon mantle+1 for KJ also upgrade the Bomb core to a fire bomblet.

As for merits 5/5 DA 5/5 WC 5/5 Crit / STR 8/8 GA and like others have said, put the rest into tomohawk and savagery.


Warriors charge is awesome, so i went 5/5 and do not regret it, id deffo reccomend it.

Why not berk+1 over perle?
More acc and atk! And DEX for RR!
Pallas or alkys for RR? no:P keep Perle there.
Smilodon+1 over foragers for KJ? why? O.o KJ dont have an atk bonus does it?

Meant bracelets for KJ, but I like perle body more than berk / +1 but thats just my personel preferance lol. I Tp in Askar body until i finish my 800 WS's on birds for my Store Tp Sumeru, then i'll most likely fulltime perle body untill i get something better

Edit: Yeah even i use foragers for Kj lol :x So ignore that!

I went 5/5 DA 2/5 Aggressor and Berserk recst and 1/5 Warcry recast on group 1, 5/5 Warrior's charge and 5/5 Savagery on group 2, although I'll admit Tomahawq 1/5 would't hurt in some occasions. Finish WC next though

I would suggest you get a Fowling earring as it gives 1 STR and 3 acc, good for both tp and mostly WS. It's dirt cheap now so you can consider it a small and easy improvement.

Try get a 5 STR Ring and you'll be good on the Ring Earring dept. for a while ( hopefully, unless SE added yet new gamebreaking items for those slots with the latest update ).

Also, what tp/ws gain are you aiming at with the sword strap? I'm not sure what the tp gain after a swing would be from a 473 delay but with your current TP bonuses from gear and subjob (2.2) I don't think you're getting near a 6 hit build.
I would use a Pole Grip while slowly working up my way to a Rose strap.

To OP: Finish WC first..5min recast is sexy.

jsut with 4/5 in savagery so i cna have a single merit in tomahawk just to have the ability


2/5 in both agressor and bersker since i macro them together anyway (with retaliation)
