Acc Or Haste Belt?

Sounds funny, but... Is not always true.

It's not that hard to land in an alliance with meh-DDs all around. So, if a PLD takes care to gear him/herself, parsing well in comparison with DDs isn't unusual.

In one Pachypodium (mandragora) exp group, there were one SAM and one MNK who had better (total) DPS, but they either constantly engaged late or AFK'ed too much. (KParser's Total DPS includes melee and WS.)

Basically, I had better output while taking much less damage myself.

The rest all had lower Total DPS than I did: Next highest melee DPS belong to a DRG/SAM (20.42), and then ranged from 17.65 (DRG74!/WAR), 15.19 (MNK/WAR), 13.86 (DRG/SAM), 13.40 (MNK/WAR), etc., all the way down to 6.85 (Mr.-prefer-to-solo DNC) and 5.42 (THF/NIN--which was probably in accurate since he was main puller).

There were also three PLD/WARs (yes, all true lol...), but not going to bother to list them.

That alliance had other PLDs who were using Provoke and Flash, so I didn't try to be main /assist; basically I was there to play with the Organics I bought a few days before that.

Though I was pretty much the top DD, damage output wasn't the only thing I was doing:

Direct curing:

* This DNC liked to solo mobs--not sure what his SJ was, but didn't cast utsusemi. He'd move to a new target whenever his target once the main /assist person Provoked/Flashed his Pachypodium, so he can spend his TP curing himself and spend his time NOT giving others Samba of any sort.

If you're going with an LS alliance, and your LS has strong DDs, yeah, your PLD's output won't look too amazing.

In pick up groups, let's just say if you know what you're doing and have the gear to do it well, you'll probably be fine.
