HDD Reformating Disk Can I Have It? Where...

I'm swapping my playstation 2 to a less used one as mine has seen well over what i expected for it to... my problem is i have to reformat the HDD but i dont have the disk anymore.. had the ps2 like 7 yrs plus... anyone know where i can burn one.. find one cheap anything?? help please.... my old ps2 is starting to die so id like to make the transition rather soon. thanks Tealk

why do you have to reformat the HDD? i've swapped the drives a few times and have yet had to reformat, not saying it's a bad idea but you shouldn't have to.

what do u mean swapped the drives. when i pull out the hard drive from my original ps2 and put it in the new one im using i deleted tetra master and the play online thingy. but when i go on it gives me an error code which says that i ahve t reformat the hdd basically.. unless i can go in and erase all of everything somehow but i dunno if that would work or how to do that...

Please help, I've been googling this all night myself...
