Worse Thing Done Ingame?

so I asked a friend to help me do g3 back when i was super new. We were on the castle O part, only part I asked for his help during... and there was 4 of us.
So we're halfway through the zone, and my mom showed up at my place to drop something off. instead of telling anyone i was going afk, i asked someone to play as me... so 10 or so minutes go by... i get back... everyones dead.
apparently the person playing as me had no idea that things would aggro (they were even newer to the game) and had linked almost every yag...
not only did everyone die 5-6 times trying to get up in unsafe spots... everyone delvled (including our lvl 75 helper). We barely made it to the ??? when i was apologizing so much i aggro'd the mobs on the ???, then linked them, and we barely got our key items... everyone had to homepoint.
I still get made fun of for it.

There was this nooby guy who everyone hated but we didn't want to be mean and kick him out of the ls. When we popped a Kirin with our social ls he was up for heca body and so was my best friend <.<

I happened to be party leader aswell >.> but he wasn't in my pt. My best friend was though. So when my best friend lost the lot he sent me a tell saying 'reinvite me' then dropped the pt. So I reinvited him and he then won the lot but nobody noticed cos they were too busy celebrating. But then it dropped and I felt soooo guilty. It took them 5 minutes to figure out what had happened and they were 'very disappointed' in me <.< Lucky they were short on mage jobs or I'd have been toast

I was farming slime oils in Korroloka Tunnel. I had brought along an Iron Ore in case I happened to come across one of the spawn points for Morion Worm. I had never soloed him on my character before but I had seen my boyfriend fight him and thought he wouldn't be too hard. I happened to see a ??? right as I entered the tunnel next to a party of Summoners getting ready for a SMN burn. Without thinking I traded instantly. The NM spawned and linked with all the other worms nearby and my puny butt got whipped. KO. Okay, no big deal. Problem was the party of Summoners nearby had already synced and after I died I watched as the NM went after them, wiping their whole party. >< I sent one of them a /tell apologizing after I left but I still felt so embarrassed.

I MPK'd a shell once.

for stealing my camp as BLM, like about level 68 or so.

The worst thing I ever done in game? This Mithra RDM that everyone in my LS hated.

I told some JP that pissed me off that I hope someone dropped an atom bomb on their block and I hope they survived to watch their family die, and then proceed to die slowly from radiation.

OH I got jailed cos i had been camping Taisijin (sp) for a mate and it was due to pop and then this guy running through aggro'd one. So i sent him a tell saying i hopped him and all his friends and family died in hell for being such a *** *** faced ***.

Got jailed for the 3rd time. 3 day suspension.

Bought Medeival collar instead of PCC, Accidently put up my Lu shang for 10k on AH, thinking I put up a halcyon rod.

Those are probably the most messed up things I've done in game :/

After this I spent weeks farming to pay back the other 5 people in the BCNM. The guy that bought it never responded to any of my pleas for the other 300k. T.T

sometimes i would go up to parties in the dunes and start to heal them thinking i was gonna stay and PL them, then i would stop curing everyone and just watch them die. Damn i am an *** lmao!

Before the level cap was removed on Pso'Xja we had a static doing CoP from Prommy's to sky, at the part where you have to fight your way through like 20 doors of statues, and eventually have go down an elevator and touch a door for a CS, I forgot to touch the door.. -.-;;; we had to do it all over again for me, they MPK'd me with a UFO when we finally got Sea access, there was a youtube video for it, but I guess the dude that uploaded it removed it =/.

You shoulda seen the convo we had when I tried to get the next CS after the door one, and I couldn't get it.. It was something like

"I didn't get any CS"
"Tell me you're joking, because if not I'm going to break your face"
"No, I'm not joking"
"Did you touch the door after we went through all the doors??"
"No? No one said to touch the door"
"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU THINK WE WENT THROUGH ALL OF THEM FOR?!"
"I dunno"
"You gotta be kidding me, please tell me you're joking"
"I'm not."

I'm kind of a loner in-game, so I haven't really screwed over too many people unintentionally by dragging 'omg *** me' mobs when they're already fighting something that's hard to begin with.. On the rare occasion I do screw up something like that, I usually get away from everyone and die.. And otherwise I'm pretty helpful in-game, I go out of my way to help people I don't even know all the time.

This was taken right after I slept the banshee and logged out.. it woke up to nom some RMTs after I logged, someone there (the galka in the middle) sent me the screenshot afterwords. One of the fishermen spoke to me in broken english:

"Why?"
"Why you do this?"
"My work is fish. Not like you"

To this day, my wife and I still randomly say that our work is fish. xD

Was leveling blm in a bird party. Had this horrible pld for a tank. Decided to drop the pld and move to a different camp but he just followed us around so i had leader invite him and i warp2 him back to bastok not knowing he had to take the boat to get back to WG.

I also like to -ga3 charmed people during an Undead attack of Besieged. But i don't really feel bad for that it's just plain funny.

A few years ago I was in an HNM shell and ppl on Bahamut still remember them..good old Thanatos.

Everyone on Bahamut hated this shell becuase well they cheated and sucked while doing so..I was new to EG and didn't full understand what was going on. Once I fully understood how awful they were I planned out some good bye gifts to the linkshell.

the 2 I can remember right now were..

I CFH on Kirin at 10%..30 or so ppl died as kirin when nuts on the zone..

And my Favorite was I CS tele-mea on the tank Party when they had Nid..they couldn't do anything and it just ran a muck in Dragon's Aery for a few min..good times.

Ppl are gunna call me a douche for doing this but if you knew Thanatos then it makes sense.

2 incidents come into my mind:

When i was lvl 71 BLM i searched for group (mb burn ftw!) but i got an invite from a Party in Bhaflau or so the area where you kill Imps. Anyway the Leader tells me to start to nuke at 50% of Mob HP and so i did. I then said this is unusual for a BLM to get invites in such parties. Leader said:" you're our exp ***. if there was any other job at 71 or a little below seeking we wouldve taken this one". So i warped the Tank and myself out. Stayed a bit in the party to get the worst swearing i read in this game and logged off.

when i was quite new in the Game i wanted to get my subjob Items. I was in a social ls who had some ppl come to help us get the items. One of the shell members said "let's do that in mhaura, is faster". So i left the party. 2 of them /telld me why i left and i said i just go home to Windy and try another job i can get subjob later. (was a lie but i said that because they had such annoiyng /party macros with every little thing they did, and it was ALL of them!). So i got my subjob items pretty fast and the day wasnt over. So when i leveld my subjob up i had some help by highlvl RDM. i was lvl 10 in some hours and ready for the dunes. When i got there the other party i was in before was still searching for that damn skull that drops of the skeletons. And they shoutet for help for this. i felt bad because i left them there to rot :(

I teleported the tank/puller party in an Abyssea party just as we had reached the cap on exp.

It was a complete accident! I was meaning to recast Protectra and Shellra and somehow (because they are close to each other) Teleport Mea'd them all!

I remember thinking "Hold on, this spell is taking a while to cast, am I lagging or something" then it dawned on me and I tried to run around desperately and just as I pressed the /heal button the screen went dark and the words "Downloading Data" came up O_o;

a few of them were ok about it and wanted me to come back and just resume, but I couldn't, I just sat there at the crystal staring in to space. bad times

also a few weeks after that I responded to a /shout in whitegate about an event linkshell that looked promising I put it on and saw that the leader and one of the main sackholders were members of that party. I quietly left and explained my embarrassment to the person /shouting.

Hmm I remember when Campaign first came out and everyone was /brd hacking for exp and they'd all stand on this platform in Grauburg. Not all of them bots but the majority of them were and everytime I'd go there for campaign battle I'd grab a mob and MPK them. I'd get a lot of angry tells but hey I killed a lot of bots in the process.

Also I got a pt invite to Garlaige Citadel on BLM. One of the few party invites that wasnt a mana burn. They had a PL grabbing a bunch of mobs and bringing them back to Gate #1 and we'd just pick them off one by one. Well I was drinking and some friends came over and I was half paying attention and hit an -aga spell that pretty much made the whole pt wipe and when the PL raised my I warped and logged >.<

I used to MPK the people who would kill the pixies/fairy mobs just so they would better appreciate the fact that the mob is there. x.x;

i was at pso'Xja soloing on BLM minding my own bussines then a japanses player came and start to take all my kills, so i ask him if we could team up no answer. then i said lets take turns. lol. after i got my kill i let the ninja get his, then as i was casting freeze he stole my kill. so i let him pull the pet then i aggor the golbin to link and kill the ninja. i did it about 5 times. then he call the GM and i got kick off for two days >.<

i heard a group of people on my server invited Jaderattlesnake into their party, he got CS tele-holla'd where a blm was waiting there to Retrace him to sandy (s), and there was another rdm who chainspelled tele-mea'd, while a whm casted at the mea crystal for tele vahzl and once in the area kicked him from the party


long story short he went around the world in about 15~ seconds
and was left out in xarcabard without a map, warp, or anyone to even care.

Back when people were still allowed to /brd and stand around the campaign guys singing, I was beating on the fort in Rolenberry. It was under beastmen control at the time, so the campaign guy was on the other side of that evil gate. I was only level 50 or so at the time, so I wasn't getting the most awesome xp there anyways. I got bored, so I decided to hand in my tags and go do something else. I was almost all the way back to the campaign guy when my shadows started taking hits. I assumed it was just the goobbue and kept going, but RIGHT as I got to the other side of the gate, I was killed.... by the campaign mob boss! It had been him chasing me all along. So since I was right next to about 15-20 /anoned people standing around singing, they all got killed too. They were highly displeased with me. :-( It was a total accident, though!


My first dynamis ls was in Jeuno, down by the ah. We had almost wiped, most everyone was dead or weakened. We had about one party of DD's up and fighting the last mob in camp, which just so happened to be a ninja. I got a raise, and thought to myself "I'm weak, so I won't be able to hit it very hard." and "It's already about half dead, so I won't pull hate." So I stood by all the weakened and resting people at the auction house and sidewinder'd it. My sidewinder pulled hate, it ran up to me and did Mijin Galka or whatever that blow-up business is called, and killed all the weakened people again. Oops.



We were in dyna-sandy and had wiped to a linked pull + NM that had charmed a bunch of people, who then got atral flowed by one of the links. We were told by the leaders to wipe quickly so we could get raised up and keep going as soon as possible. One of the guys in the ls thought he was clever and ran away to hide instead of wiping. We were all the way by the chocobo stables, and he must have run all the way back to the mogs, for as long as it took. Anyways. The mobs had seen him, so they all went chasing after him and killed him anyways, then it took twice as long to raise everyone because we had to wait for all the mobs to come meandering back. I was mad that he had run away and cost us all like 10 minutes instead of wiping like the leaders had said to, so I told him off and called him a coward. I must have been outrageously cranky that day or something, I usually try not to tell people off. :-(


A different dyna, we had less than 30 seconds left and some relic that someone wanted dropped. One person in my party was the only one who hadn't passed, and everyone kept yelling at her to pass. I didn't think she was going to, so I D2'd her without permission to get the other person their relic. I didn't get in trouble, but I also did NOT have the authority to D2 her. Given the same situation again, I'd probably D2 her again.... but knowing that I'd do it again doesn't really make it the right thing to do.


Sometimes, if I am busy or don't know someone and they send me a /tell asking for help or a linkshell pearl or anything, I pretend to be afk. /blush.


I obsessively check bazaars. Back when scorpion harnesses were 300k and I needed one and couldn't afford it, I found a scorp harness (and a ton of other things) in some guy's bazaar for 1 gil. Ever since then, I MUST check every bazaar I see in case someone has a killer deal on cute shoes or something. I don't care if I've checked you before and know that you only have a love chocolate for max price in there. Next time I see you, I will check you again anyways just in case.

MPK Fortification when it use to give EXP and then MPK'ing all the weakened people....Then MPK the people trying to Warp out xD
