He was told to stay inside his house. 'nough said. This is what bugs me. Being told to stay inside your house means there is a state of emergency, affecting these people's daily lives. That alone should be reason enough for these dogs to be taken away from their owners and put to sleep how do the cops know they are really dangerous when there not there to see whats going on? its for there saftey first so the cops can get there without neither the dogs or people getting hurt. and its not really affecting someones daily life. im sure anyone can go to there garage get in the car and go somewhere without hitting the dogs

Well then I bet the dogs dragged him out from his house after he had picked up his gun, and then blocked his way back to the safety of his house. HE HAD TO SHOOT THEM TO GET BACK TO HIS HOUSE!

I got this guys!
Man calls police to tell them of two dogs. Police say to stay inside the house. The dogs owner's children saw the dogs and were going to call them back home! Man obviously thinks these are just kids in danger and grabs his gun to be a hero in the eyes of the world!The End

I'll tell you this then, if I stray dog walks up to you (not beeing agressive) and you kick it just because you can, chances are you'll piss it off.
The cops told this guy to stay in his house til they got there. Did he do as he was told? Nope, he went out and shot the dogs.
Besides, if the dogs really were agressive, dont you think that he wuld have stayed in his house rather than go out and confront them with a gun? This whole story stinks of
"dude getting annoyed at another dudes dogs who ran away twice the same day, and went ahead and shot them for no aparent reason. And his neighbour is covering for him, saying he also have been attacked by them"
I didn't realize what I was saying was being misunderstood. I wouldn't harm a dog minding his own business or anything like that.

I wonder how many things like these happen on a daily basis, yet as long as it's not televised or widespread no one really gives a ***, or is oblivious to the fact events like this (or worse) happen every other day.

I personally knew these dogs, they belonged to my sister's best friend. They got out on accident, but were never any harm. In the article is clearly states he was advised not to leave his home.
