wow thanks for the tip! I didnt know salvaging gave back the runes. I was debating on weather or not I should switch up my mask because of the rune I had on the other.

Yeah, you get it all back. You can even get runes from armor sets too

does anyone know a good place to get Glob of Ectoplasm from without having to salvage Exotic gear? i need 30 of the damn things to craft 1 set of exotic armor :\

Unused skill points? Is there a fixed amount of them in the world that would allow you to unlock all skills? But you can choose to save some for this?

Cause it seems like I'm far from getting them on a regular basis. I'm 38 I think and still working on the elite skills and 100%ing zones.

After you hit 80 you keep gaining 'xp' for more skillpoints.

I'm also essentially completely uncomfortable with Traits. I like how it is laid out and at the same time I don't because I have no idea wtf I should be investing in. Nothing stands out to me as like "Oooo I could definitely use that!" And I heard that it is expensive to reset Traits? So I have barely touched them and my points are just piling up. I'm a Guardian btw.

I guess that is one of my beefs with the MMOs with this kind of skill system. I like 11 or 14 where there are few skills but they all seem pretty unique. In GW2 or Rift I think it was as well, it feels like there are just tons of these skills and the only difference between one and five other similar skills is the cooldown or effect duration.

FF14 would be like Skill 1 Stabs them in the face, Skill 2 knocks them back. In these other MMOs its like Skill 1 stabs them in the face with a 5% bleed chance, Skill 2 Stabs them in the face with a 50% chance to blind over a .5 second duration, Skill 3 Stabs them in the face with a 5% chance to blind over a 2 second duration. etc etc

Just some vague examples from my point of view.. Feels like I can't see or feel the results of my attack choices. Its just a hotkey mashing flurry.

GW2 has been great so far though in general.

It costs me like 4 silver to reset my traits at 80. Last time I did it around 60? it was 2 silver. Talk to your profession trainer and ask him to reset your traits and you can see how much it is.

well at some point during one of the many skirmishes that took place. I changed my traits up and stood near a cliff. I was hoping that the enemy team would follow me cuz I was going to jump off and get free kills if anyone else followed.

Well no one jumped off. But this pretty much summed it up of what my team did to their team.

Zone event, it's one of the Ascalon zones, don't remember which off the top of my head. If you look on the map it's the Ascalon zone with the largest concentration of Dragonbrand

What coat and colors are those? I play Thief too and my charcoal seems more brown on my current gear and ALL of my reds look more of a dark orange than red.
