Just say, "Honor for x, y, z!" and usually people will honor you back if you weren't an ***.

0/10/1, receive 3 honorable opponent and 4 teamwork. Meanwhile on my smurf, people don't seem to understand what honor are. Nobody ask for them, nobody give them, so much innocence <3 Asking for honor is incredibly lame.

You'll get honor if you deserve it, demanding it and expecting it are selfish.

if i wipe the floor with an opponent and they don't say ***like "CANT WIN WITHOUT YOUR JUNGLE" "1v1 ME" or anything else HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE normally I'll honor them, if they do the same to me without saying something like "lolthx" or whatever when they get a kill I'll honor them as well

I don't give honor at all anymore.

Not sure if people were responding to me, but people usually forget about giving honor. If you're a nice person in game and others are being nice, just mention to them you're giving them honor and they'll usually be like, "Oh, this person is nice/good/cool, I'll give them honor too.". I mean, I never expect to get honor, but being nice is generally how you get it.
I mean, most games people are *** *** and/or HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE. But those feel good games I like to make people happy about. and if you get an honor ribbon, you can also lose it

He insulted his poor lanemate who was actually doing a good job, but couldn't sponge his adc diving tower everytime he would be back to the lane. We proceeded to tell the guy to calm down and step up his game, to which he answered "lol guys, I'm pro, please". His lanemate took over and proceeded to carry the game. This is why wherever I go in ranked, as long as I'll be around this kind of people, I'll always play X and Y champ so that if ***hits the fan, I can just start farming myself and maybe turn the tide.  After 500+ wins, you should know how to build champs you have skins for. Just sayin.
