I just had an AP Taric. We won, but no thanks to him.

Well played, three times. As for the ELO duo queue, everytime I duo queued with a friend in the 1400 range, we would be with 1400 people, I was the only person under 1300 (I was 800 back then). So it's a handicap for you if my ELO is really 600 (which it probably is). It's only a handicap if you deserve your current ELO. If your true ELO is about the same as your partner's, or higher, you won't hold them back, and you'll rise in rank faster.
Ya, just saying in my case. Usually, good players team up with another good one when leveling their smurf and such, they reach 1800+ in no time.
I might just do that, but I need to think of a way to be more decisive (._.)

Can't wait to finish these damn placements to see what ELO I land at.
