anybody have any tips on jungling? finally decided its time to stop being lazy and learn D:
following a mobafire guide for now and doing bot games with amumu.
or should i stop being a tryhard and go for lee sin jungle lol.
edit- k only 2 matches that i've jungled and its pretty darn easy, i just need to practice timing on ganks :|
any tips on when i should go / waste time on enemys jungle?
put a ward at the enemy blue if they are blue dependent. wait for it to almost die and then smite it over the wall. if you see the enemy jungler ganking bot and top is pushed back, run in and kill the big wraith and golem. if you can take red too go for it. communicate with your team so they know to let the enemy team push back or to bait them. people rarely expect you to come from their own tri-bush.
I wouldnt counter jungle unless your champ actually has the potential to do so.
As far as timing your ganks, make sure you know where the wards are placed and when they are placed, dont try to gank if the lanes are pushed. Communicate with your lanes so they know not to push and to follow on your initiation or youre a sitting duck out there, or waste of a gank.
Killing in the jungle is easy, its clearing your jungle in a fast pace and making sure your lanes are well supported with your ganks and your buffs are protected including drg/baron and not falling behind in lvls farm etc that can be difficult at times.
If you're counter jungling you only want to do it when the enemy jungler is in view on the mini-map for the most part
place a ward at their wraiths and maybe one at their wolves, another at red and another at blue
And I'd even recommend to ward your own jungle to avoid them counter jungling you
the easiest part of counterjungling is to run in and steal their big wraith or wolf (wraiths are easier due to location) and leave at least one of the smaller minions. Though on Nunu jungle I've taken an enemy big Wolf, Wraith, and Golem all in one run so it really depends on who you're on and the situation
and sure counterjungling buffs is important but very high risk if your team doesn't know what they're doing, normally now the Jungle will give the AP mid blue so trying to smite it over the wall could end badly for you depending on where the mid goes to kill it
Normally it's easier for me to control red over blue because it seems like people will almost forget about their red from time to time

Oh and to the ward comment, a very good way to get ganks in if the whole enemy team is warding is either lane ganking or getting an early oracles
The Skin Sale Checklist (Post Update for 8/20/2012)

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE:
This post has been created to inform potential skin buyers of the possibility of recently released skins that may be featured in an upcoming sale. Newly released skins may go on sale as early as three months after public release; however, this is all subject to change. With the exception of Limited-Edition and Legendary-status skins, every skin released before Feb. 20th has received a sale prior to the latest skin sale announcement, or has been placed in the "unofficial" skin sale Blacklist. The next sale may contain at least 1 skin from the list below.
All skins not listed here have been placed on sale before, are currently on sale now or have just been announced to be going on sale in a couple of days. The only exceptions to these rules are either Limited-Edition or Legendary-status skins. "Blacklisted" skins are still eligible for skin sales. With this in mind, it is advisable that you don't buy these skins unless you really want them NOW. (If that's the case, don't complain if you bought it and it happens to go on sale shortly afterwards).
Riot's "Unofficial" Skin SaleBlacklist Section created by Coreporeal
These are the only skins that have been absent from any sales since their introduction during Season 2. Skins to be considered to be "blacklisted" have been released to the public for more than six months, and as of yet have not been featured on a sale. The reason for this is, as of yet, unknown. Listed from the oldest to the most recent.
■ Nov. 15th, 2011: Atlantean Fizz (975 RP).
■ Dec. 29th, 2011: Prototype Viktor (975 RP).
■ Jan. 10th, 2012: Dragonblade Talon (975 RP), Guqin Sona (975 RP), Jade Dragon Wukong (975 RP), Dragon Fist Lee Sin (975 RP).
■ Jan. 17th, 2012: Sabertusk Sejuani (975 RP).
■ Feb. 14th, 2012: Abyssal Nautilus (975 RP), Heartseeker Vayne (975 RP).
Skin(s) no longer Blacklisted due to the latest skin sale announcement(s): Full Metal Pantheon (975 RP), released Aug. 1st, 2011.
And I guess the point of that list he posted there is to inform others that of the skins available, those are the only ones that have yet to be on sale, and thus must at some point go on sale themselves. So you shouldn't buy them, if you're going to feel bad when they eventually do come on sale.

So apparently we should wait on Blackthorn Morgana and Heartseeker Vayne to go on sale, eh? Because according to that they haven't been on sale yet?
Mostly yeah, they haven't been on sale yet, so they must do at some point right? Who knows how long that will be though, considering heartseeker vayne is on the blacklist (having been out for a reasonably long time and not been on sale since release)
I assume you're going to buy RP for it, do you care if you have to spend £3 extra to get it? If not, then go ahead and buy it.

Friend gave me some RP cards, been hoarding the RP for weeks.
Nice. I've bought maybe £30 of RP in the past month, considering how abysmally poor my champ selection was, and I can't rightly play one with an appropriately asswhooping skin. I imagine it might not be so nice in dollars lol.
Has anyone here at least given this game a try or plays it? I enjoy it a lot for what it's worth. It's a MOBA-style game and it's completely FREE unless you want to buy skins(merely aesthetic) for champions. All the champions are well-balanced and can be purchased with Influence Points earned from matches.
