If properly built and you haven't died too much and you keep up on your cs and you get your items, you can half shot entire teams with your ult, and easily burst down ad carries/bruisers/ap carries with a EWR combo triple edit: Also if you mid as AP ez, you can sometimes snipe red/blue buffs from the enemy jungler or their ap carry. And if you want from your own jungler if you wanna be a *** or to save time AP ez can't be relied on though, so I really wouldn't recommend using it over AD ez, and after testing it a few times I don't think Hybrid ez can do as well as AD ez Don't get me wrong AP ez can do damage, but regardless of how good you are at it you can't completely rely on it And AP ez is outdone as a pick by almost any other AP carry

you've stated your opinion on the accuracy of tier lists many times before and he isn't even on the AP tier list, shouldn't that say something? AP Ez has 2 abilities that can even be close to reliable to land and even then aren't even close to reliable as just about every other AP's abilities. They are his ult, and his w.
His Q stops after hitting one person, so that isn't very good. His E can't even be aimed, and isn't even really used for damage. So, you're left with a 40 secondish cooldown ult, and a 9 second cooldown line attack. Compare that to basically every single other AP in the game and it sucks horribly as a kit. You can't even really trade blows with any other AP who isn't pants-on-head HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE because they have reliable way of trading blows where Ez would only really be able to land 2 during laning.

AP Ez is A) fun as hell and B) not that bad. If you actually hit people with all 4 skills it does good damage and with Q spam you shorten cool downs on his E and W. If you just sit at a minion wave and mash Q you can get your ult back after in a fight in no time flat.

In addition to this, we're mainly talking about viable in competitive play. Basically anything can work in normals, but if you do AP Ez in ranked you're putting your team at a disadvantage from the start.
