I've had a leaver in at least 4 of my last 7 games. Always on my team. What the hell happened? -.-

So I was playing Kat against a very AP heavy team (they had Kog, Fizz, and Rumble) and my team tries to tell me not to build Maw of Malmortius as last item (I have Rabadon's, Gunblade, Rylai's, Abyssal Scepter) "because I'm not an AD". First of all ult scaling is .5 AD and .25 AP. Secondly, moments after I bought hexdrinker I got a double kill/ace and made it out with 25hp after magic shield. Good judgment call on my part or just dumb luck?
I think maw is a GREAT item for Kat against a lot of AP, because even if you get focused while ulting, it's going to do more damage the lower your HP gets. That synergizes well with spell vamp also, slightly ramping up your self-healing from damage and allowing you to survive longer.

Makes sense to me. Against AP heavy teams seems like a reasonable buy on her (On paper anyway I guess, I've never played Kat).

been toying with the idea of a full AD runepage (thats like 21.+ attack damage) not sure if i'm willing to spend the ip on it though~ any thoughts?

not worth it. a full ad page is kinda worthless. if anything ad quints and get some armor pen in the mix.

Everything turns out all right when the team works together. I did a silly attempt at an enemy's life underneath a turret costing me a death on my part, but other than that I think it turned out all right!

Not as useful as armor pen imo. Less valuable than 25 armor pen that you get from just red/quints, even if they don't stack armor. Only thing AD helps with is early last hits.

they fed pretty hard and with 2 invasion attempts at blue and red(both failed) we pretty much kicked ashe and chewed bubble gum :3

Why don't more people play kayle top? She's so *** beast. That harass is HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE OP. Junglers can't touch me either, they literally were sending 3+ people every time up top to gank me I raped akali and garren. Akali was behind me on farm by 50 at lvl 10. Then garen came up from bot and hecarim. Couldn't catch me I didn't even ward cause it was so easy. Q hecarim, W me, Flash if need to and R under my tower when they all dived me and Karthus ulted me lol.

I was solo top against Kayle as Shyvana today... I couldn't farm worth ***, she was 20 CS ahead of me by 10min and we'd both killed each other once... All she does is use her slow and righteous fury and deal a shitload of damage in one go, and she can do it just outside of turret range too.

I started playing this game yesterday after seeing this thread for a while now. I've just been playing 5 v bot matches. At what level can i realistically start playing against other people? I dont wanna get raped and have my team yelling at me the whole game.
Also, I unlocked Jax and am starting to figure what types of manuevers are working best. Any info anyone can give me as far as items i should be grabbing and so forth? Thanks

You can do 5v5 normals at Lv.1 if you feel comfortable with it. I wouldn't say you'd get "raped" per say. But chances are you'll be put against people Lv.5~15ish though. (Not to say Lv.15ish people won't suck, either.) As for Jax, I BELIEVE most people rush a Trinity Force on him and then get a Hextech Gunblade, or in the reverse order.

Down 12 kills early. Then Spath, Hito, and I snowball like crazy.
Almost got a penta :( hito killed teemo. I dove shaco in his fountain and killed him at the end too XD Didn't die!

I just love how they tried to punk us around early game, lv 6 comes around I riftwalk all over the map finding them, "Hey I found you, remember me?! so I like hear you like punking my bot and jungler /grins"

play ranked and you'll get countered hardcore ~
but anyways kayle has become a lot more viable as a champ tho thanks to the recent buffs

Thanks I would actually recommend for you to head on over to Mobafire. Look up about Jax builds and try them out since you are new to the game.
Once you get used to your champ a bit, look at the builds more closely and see why they choose certain items, runes etc for that build. Based on that, try experimenting and make your own variation that you think can work. You'll be more effective that way when you are flexible with a champion. :)

How does Fiora counter Wukong?
I picked Fiora to counter who I assumed was their solo top, then they picked Wukong and I lost horribly, he has easy-mode harass that does a lot of damage, then he can just decoy whenever I try to fight back.
Then I brought it up that it was impossible to win the lane, and they just claimed that Wukong is weak to Fiora, but I don't see how.
I played against my friend in a 1v1 Fiora vs. Wukong, we're both about evenly matched in skill too. I lost by a small margin, mainly because I had to wait for him to ult before I could use mine, or he'd just use his decoy to escape. So regardless of how it came down I was always the first one to low HP, and auto attacking (Fiora's strength) seems futile against Wu.

It's better to play a champion you know how to play rather than one you think fits the role better or who everyone considers OP. Take an AP carry top.

Has anyone here at least given this game a try or plays it? I enjoy it a lot for what it's worth. It's a MOBA-style game and it's completely FREE unless you want to buy skins(merely aesthetic) for champions.
