 Face it... No matter what you do in life, it'll never be as badass as this. man I really liked when they introduced the whole competing thing into the pokemon games, I don't remmeber which one was the first one but I'm sure it was on GBA.
Competing over which one was more beautiful, charming, mysteryous or w/e... forgot the name of those competitions, wasn't it thanks to dawn? Beauty Contests? Those were introduced in Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald.
Sapphire/Emerald I think introduced the Poke'mon Contest thing... Had Poke'blocks and other crap for them or whatever. I never played those, so I don't remember.
Diamond/Pearl had pretty much the same thing, but I think it took a different approach. HS/SS had a Poke'mon Triatholon. Still didn't mess with that one, either. :x yeah some beauty contests, but it also had other options, like most charming, most beautiful.
and in the abilityes it checked which ability was what, like some abilities were charming, others dark, others beautiful. so if you used this ability, that was classified as charming, in a most charming competition, you won mad points. and you won some ribbons too. thats when the whole mixing berries thing emerged too, that there were little machines in these competition centers. w/e lol memory is cloudy Poffins and such.
The Pokeathlon is fun, lol. Only problem is you NEED a stylus stick or you'll struggle. I lose them often. ._.' I have a bad itch to play pokemon and I tossed my GBA, I also don't have a DS. Emulators really suck because they sometimes crash and erase some of your process even the one you already have saved up :/
