It's a short video playthrough of the Zelda demo. The controls look a lot smoother than they did in the presentation, which is great.

I'm not going to make a discussion out of this. The wii has been out for years and for years it has produced games that I have no interest in. So now it has CoD: Black ops coming for it? Well have fun with that and your mario games while I blast off on Fallout/Oblivion/Rockstar games.

So The Old Republic is supposed to be just a huge game of Jedi and Sith... that would be WAY too plain.

I am hoping that the different classes you pick also make the story you progress through completely different. If you are a trooper you are going to have different missions than a smuggler or a Jedi.

I am really hoping for something great here, and I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt instead of bashing what I dont know.

I think their sales would tend to disagree. and i dont even own a Wii, yet.

I actually don't own a real Gaming PC any more, I just wish everyone wasn't tossing their salad over the console wars and focus on the games instead.

I also actually despise most FPS. The one exception (non PC) would probably be Bioshock. But I consider that more of a First person Narrative, with some weak Shooter mechanics.

Do you not agree that's a good point with a Star Wars MMO though? I mean, what IS the point of having Jedi if they have to be balanced with a Smuggler, a Normal Trooper or something. Only the Bounty Hunter really gets Exception to that Rule, cause everyone's favorite Teal-clad Deathmachine Boba Fett has slain many a Jedi.

And if stating facts is Pissing on stuff, I guess I'm a diabetic pregnant woman, because nothing I've said is false. Just Observations, I'm not even talking quality here you know. I've no doubt that the next Zelda will be a fanatstic, masterful piece of work, but at the end of the day, it's the same masterful work we've seen time and time again. Think of it like a remix of your favorite song. Doesn't make it any less awesome, but it is, at heart, the same ***.

Wii is a family console. Sony/360 is for the "hardcore" gamer.

Zelda, Paper Mario, ToS:2, Smash Bros Brawl, SM:G and Okami disagree.

360 is for the hardcore gamers that have enough money and patience to send their 360 in every year for maint once the big red ring shows.

PS3 is for the hardcore gamers who want to play crap games in superb graphics and go on the internet and play blu-ray all in one unit.

Wii is for gamers who go for gameplay more than "ZOMG AWESOME GRAFFIX" and actually have fun playing and not get as aggrivated.

This does not make Wii a ***console.

360 is making headway in the family bit with arcade games, and I've seen a fair share of full titled family games for it.

Dunno about PS3 but I'm sure it's nearly the same.

Do you mean FFXI is just a rework of another FF game, or do you mean it's a rework of an MMO.

The Former is absolutely incorrect. No other FF game (That came out prior) Shares the Singleplayer/character control base of FFXI, not to mention the some two-thousand asshats you have to fight to get a stupid hat on a daily basis. And let's not even begin with the DramaLama.

If you mean it's a Rework of Another (Or every other)MMO... Well. Yah. It is. Level up, few thousand people. Some money. Boom, MMO. The Main differentiating factor between MMO's nowadays is really the community they breed. For Example

FFXI's community is perhaps the tightest knit community. This stems from one character having access to all the classes, as well as the slight incentive to only focus on one character (Addional fees) Reputation follows you like a shadow in FFXI.

WoW community is based on Epeen stimulated by the arbitrary "Gearscore" number. A totally unknown person with a massive gearscore generally will always be "Right"

Warhammer Online is all about *** over EVERYONE. They actually have a title given to you for helping the GM's ban x No. of Accounts. As such, there tends to be grave animosity between pretty much everyone. A friend described warhammer Online as "Fun until you get banhammered, then you go back to WoW"

I'm not calling the wii a family console because of the quality of the games. I'm calling it a family console because of the nature of the majority of the games. It requires you to stand and/or use the controller in a dynamic way.

I like my games best lying around and farting away my worries.
