i reckon what interesting is.. they actually put on the gears what ppl actually using instead of AF or something unreal

Caladbolg looks so stupid. All the other weapons look cool, though. :P

Look at the great axe... it's a god damn hammer! There's no edge on that "blade". Eh, I don't like most of them. Katana, GK just look freaking awesome. The Gun looks pretty good, and the H2H I'll admit looks interesting. Rest are meh. Seriously for the sword I would probably only use it if the stats are very good, just looks very bad to me =(

(taken from the website) Might as well throw in, these seem a lot like Relicv2s. Maybe has ties to Walk of Echos and Abyssea. Also note, they are planning to tweak the trials and make them easier, though to what extent has not been said. Yeah i'd also put money on it being linked to TOTM These are probably T2 upgrade and its probably upgraded from drops from the new EG system "Walk of Echoes" and "Abyssea" we probably can't get these until the last expantion "heores of Abyssea" is released.

I'd be willing to bet that these new weapons are the end results of all the TOTM too, and that in the end they will be better than any upgraded Relic OR Mythic. Perhaps one can augment a few different trial paths and combine them together, it'd be pretty sweet to see some weapons with several trial paths on them. I like this. I doubt these weapons would be "better" than Relic or Mythic, unless of course, the trials were insanely difficult - such as kill AV 10 times on Firesday during a Waxing Crescent. The Relic and Mythic weapons take a large amount of time and funding to complete, I Highly doubt SE would make them obsolete with a trial weapon. Comparable, I can see that, but I don't forsee any new weapon being the end all must have or gtfo weapon.
