Planning on starting a ZNM linkshell with friends (And opening recruitment soon, of course) but first wanted to build a website. Will be glad to take any constructive criticism

Not really a good idea. Establishing a website keeps members connected outside of the game and enhances ties with each other due to that. No problem with starting a website for your LS regardless.

to be honest.. this could be any random website..

theres no relation to FFXI. its not very eye friendly and now welcoming

ideally for welcome page you'd want something LIKE edited screenshot thru vanadiel or of ls events or something..

looks a little amateurish...
