Is Fastcast worth more than 1 INT and 2 MACC?

Start casting in Rostrum, then before the spell goes off switch to Goliard.

The fastcast will still take it's affect, and you'll gain the benefits of Goliard.

A simple /wait macro should suffice.

Quick question, but does the same come into play with brd?

Well I'll be... So as long as your casting in fast cast to begin with, if you change before it's finished you get the fast cast and the added skill?

Which is why yigit gomelek works as a cheap alternative to sha'ir manteel, it's why minstrel's ring is so good, etc.

Learning a lot about BRD today, eh? Lol.

Keep in mind you won't get the bonus of reduced recast unless you actually cast in the Fast Cast gear. It doesn't apply for -Spellcasting Time on Minstrel's Ring or Yigit body though. And obviously there are few situations where you need to actually worry about getting your recast as low as possible anyway. Lullaby is the only thing that comes to mind.

Precast in Rostrums, debuff in goliard/shadow, buff in oracles.
