5 year age difference is nothing. I thin the reason why people freak out about it is, depending on whre you live I suppose, the underage aspect.
As far as someone saying that at 14 you dont know what you want, I'd say that would be true, but that is regardless of your gender.
People with problems about it are probably jealous that they havnt found a great relationship.
