It's much easier to get exp as a Mage or Pld than it is for a DD from my experience.

Fortification exp caps from damage very fast, the damage is irreleavent honestly.

I can get about 1~1.5k from forts every 10min refreshing tags as Whm or Rdm, I see no issue as a mage. :P
