Which 75 Job Are You Reluctant To Level To 99?

Or even set on retiring? While it's true that we have no idea how easy or hard it will be to go from 75 to 99, or what new abilities they gain that high (besides subjob's abilities), it's not unreasonable to assume any one job will break out of its current niche, whether it be in the DD pecking order, unique support role, or what have you.

So, any job you're hesitating to grind? For me it is SMN. I know with Astral Burns that may be the quickest job to level to 99, but as I've been trying to cap summoning skill for over a year, I can't see myself committing to skilling that up to a decent level. And unless they make radical changes to SMN, it still won't be highly prized, especially after losing its monopoly on Hastega. I could spend a few days burning SMN to 99, but without a need for it, I'm thinking of retiring it at 75.

I have a HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE plan to take all jobs to 75, so that i may take ONE maybe TWO to 99... and start fresh.

Ever since i got maat's cap its been a curse from hell being on call for any job ever.

I look at it as a way to start fresh myself.

I'm going to have to wait and see what job abilities are released for each job before I decide what I'll be stopping for sure. As of now my 75s are probably going up, but the announcement of the cap has stopped my wanting to level new jobs. Was planning on taking blu up, but now I'll probably stop at 49 or 50.

Unfortunately I like my current job diversity, so I'll more than likely be taking RDM/BLM/MNK/SAM/SMN to 99...only job not going up is WHM, which I retired for a reason :|

On subject even though SAM is my love and main, even worked on my relic again... I'm afraid because of all the talk on SAM being built up for support jobs that they will completely lose focus on the full head on DD side of SAM.

I think it all depends on how many and what type of xp pt areas are avaiable but my biggest dread.. THF. it was a *** to get to 75. i want xp/merit camps that are not owned by Polearm SAM onry...

BLU. I'll either have to make my own pts, which I don't have the drive to do nowadays, or campaign, which I *** hate. Though it'll give me an excuse to rank up in it.

Kinda agree. I'll level blm but I will be highly upset if my morrigans robe turns out to be useless :/

WHM isn't going any higher than 75, I'll DELVL it before I ever think about lvling it higher.

I think with the new sub job cap being at 49 at the end, we'll either get another trait as a THF, or we'll get something we can augment our armlets with. I'm hoping.

On topic, nothing I'll dread more than leveling my sub jobs higher. I didn't level jobs to 75 that I didn't like. Though, as far as time wise, SMN and THF will take longer than others.

BRD is never going past 75.

It won't even get past 74 when it delevels.

Why not just level the jobs you WANT to play, not what someone else thinks you should level for their LS events?

Honestly, all of them.. I hate grinding *** levels out.. and something tells me going from 75-99 (or 72-73 in the case of my other jobs) it just isn't going to be possible to solo/duo/campaign/FoV page them up..

Same here, I love my blm but I sometimes get annoyed that they want my BLM all the time for events.

Oh! DRG is going to 99, most definitely, THF and SMN too most likely.

My drg may stay 75, maybe my pup, too and unless they increase combat merits, dnc. Sam and mnk are the only two that are for sure going to 99 for me.

I love BLM, I'm looking forward for Meteor, and how many deaths it will create....for both myself and the mobs...
