I was able to unlock sea before obtaining my airship pass, so I'd agree with this statement.

It took me longer to find a group to do salvage blade NM than it took me to go from Chapter 3 of CoP to Chapter 8.

Thing is, I did solo the NM. I had aggro'd an add, which my friend took care of, but he never touched the NM or me (via buffs or w/e) in any way shape or form.

So, for everybody who says sea access is easy to get, how many times have you gone through the CoP missions to help others get it? Or has it been more of a "I never want to do that again", resulting in a shrinking pool of people to do missions with?

And I do agree with an earlier poster that not getting a WS for a job "because it sucks and there are better" does show a slight lack of commitment to the job. It would bug the hell out of me to know that there is something I could get for a job, but can't be bothered to get. Hell, I unlocked the scythe and dagger WS on bst just because I could.
