I too enjoy WingsXI. It's the most populated server with 42069 players on it always. That makes them the best private server ever.

Ahh, nostalgia.

Was asking mostly because retail is currently frozen. Most of the PS I've heard of are welfare. Just wondering if there was a pre-nerf server. Not for nostalgia, mostly for people who never saw it.
Atavism is coming back and it's exactly what you described. I don't think he's ready to launch yet but he said he wanted to soon.

This has level sync, exp boosts and OoL stuff added. Nothing wrong with running a server the way you want to, but I'm looking for something that's trying to present the game the way it actually was. Not really looking for someone else's take on 'the way it should be'.
