He's probably more correct than not. LoL. BLM will obviously remain king of black magic, be it in wider spell access or the gear to push them well over a counterpart.

Scholars are what I like to call 'tactical' mages. I don't expect them to come out with something that lets them out-nuke a black mage, but could still be very powerful if you know how to play the job strategically.

lol when the moon is right and you tilt your head to the left and drink some sweet ice tea on an ice day i can cast a 7k blizz 4 on sch and yes all that must happen in order for my 7k to proc.

Well on their own server and such for 'showcasing' purpose might have very minimal stats display. Just to keep the speculations high until release, for all we know, the ability probably doesn't even cast that fast either.

Looks like 2 characters. 1 with only visitant status and the other is the SCH. The first character is in first person mode. That's why you don't see the effects popping up when the SCH starts using those abilities.
